Kansas City Ranked Clean

Eco-hype news is trending amid the pandemic economic recession. The tragic part of this report is that one of the projects featured is mostly a city hall kick-back deal with a local energy monopoly orchestrated by a politico who later moved from 12th & Oak to a sweet gig with said corporation.

And so . . . The project really isn't so "clean" after all . . .

Still, clueless plebs who have the wrong idea about the "green economy" enjoy the illusion that they're saving the planet. Check-it:

KC Ranks 25th Among 100 Cities on Clean Energy Scorecard

When it comes to the global fight against a looming climate crisis, cities have a lot of weight to pull. Due to the autonomy municipal governments have over their own energy policies, as well as their potential to set trends in surrounding areas, cities can play a significant role in the world's fight against climate change.

  1. Bike/Walk KC is a fucking joke and complete streets is a waste of money which, by the way, KAnsas Shitty doesn't have much of now. Having fun Kansas Shitty?

  5. My lease is up at the end of this month and I'm moving to the People's City at City Hall. Oh, to shit free on the streets and watch people stop in it.

  6. This is a BS LIE. Kansas City ranks the top five worst cities in the country for pollution crime litter in the streets, and infrastructure mess. More companies are taking their clients to Overland Park. Sorry KC your propaganda might work with the gullible, but everyone else knows different. Overland Park is running circles around KC. If Overland Park stays on the downward slide though with losers like Sharice Davids they will fall too, but right now it's Overland Park that's way ahead of KC with corporate visitors. Imagine what those Plaza murals say to people? It says KC is a clown show and tacky.

  7. I no longer have a vested interest in Kansas Shitty aside from watching it fail. Keep trying to convince everyone that all is well suckers and losers. The bitch slaps from reality have barley even begun. The wheels are falling off and your emperor has no clothes you dummies.

  13. I am moving from OVPK to downtown KC. I found a place preCovid. Then came Covid and the protests. Many less commuters downtown, lots of parking. Most reataurants are open. City Market is rocking and Riverfront Park is still the best kept secret for outdoors KC.

Power n lite is opening up but no social distancing or masks or city health inspectors because they are a big corporation "protected" by city hall. Pretty disgusting.

The city is walkable with breweries and outdoor dining from City Market to crossroads. Some homeless, mostly polite. No obvious street crime. I have seen BLM and Blue Lives protests. Both peaceful.

My concern is if the economy deteriorates and crime and homelessness rise, or if the city services become even worse. I don't think I would have got a place downtown in the current climate, but so far it is an enjoyable and safe urban environment and I don't see any suburban flight.
