Protester Banished From The Plaza After George Floyd Protest Sues Kansas City Police Board

A woman who was arrested during a June protest of police brutality and ordered not to return to the Country Club Plaza is suing the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners, claiming the order violates her constitutional rights. Theresa Taylor says she fears participating in future protests near the Plaza lest she be arrested again for violating the banishment order.

  4. Dear zealots,

What part of the word unconstitutional do you not understand? How can you claim to be law & order Americans and support unconstitutional policing behavior? There should be no free passes for protestors and none for police. Both are under rule of law if you are a conservative.

  6. police are not security guards.

They don't make the rules and cannot limit movement without a court order.

    This was unconstitutional.

Protest again and I will run you people down everyone else needs to do the same they have tied the hands of our police officers and are trying to control the people except for the ones out committing crimes. Wake up people the time is now! ENOUGH

  12. 8:24 & 9:11 - the police did not do anything that violated either the federal or the state constitution. If you contend otherwise, cite the sections you claim were violated, and describe how.
