Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas Shares Basketball Hope After Record Breaking 2020 Murder Count Accomplished
Credit to most of the TV stations that aren't covering a PR hype blast from Mayor Quinton Lucas offering hope for B-ball in the aftermath of a horrific murder milestone achieved this week.
The PR headline . . .
"Mayor Quinton Lucas says KC is open to serving as temporary home for NBA’s Raptors"
The paywall garbage isn't even worth linking because the story isn't about anything more than an odd tweet that's free to read.

Similarly, the mayor will be on "Face The Nation" tomorrow to talk COVID-19.
Meanwhile, this town seems content to overlook one of the worst failures of leadership and public safety in Kansas City political history.
Developing . . .
Gotta give him credit for hustling.
ReplyDeletemight as well, nothing else to put in the t-mobile center.
DeleteOf all the Mayors to have on that show they picked this loser?
ReplyDeleteMaybe we'll get lucky and he'll come off as the retard he really is.
A show with a 1.8 star rating interviewing a Mayor who sucks as bad as they do. Easy to see how the show is only rated 1.8 stars.
ReplyDeleteCan't get anyone to fix the streets.
ReplyDelete"Reigns" over a record homicide count.
Continues to squander tax money on "development" projects.
Knee;s with rioters, looters, and arsonists.
Throws his police under the bus.
Panders to every east side grifter who "demands" that the city cater to their every idea.
And he's going to recruit an NBA team to KCMO?
Hahahahaha!!
You rock mayor
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteWonder if the good Mayor will mention that his protester friends spread Covid in front of City Hall camping out without masks.
Plus all the other diseases shared with KCMO workers by the protesters via the tent people pooping and peeing in the shrubs and HVAC vents.
Has he mentioned his positive covid test yet?
ReplyDeleteImpeach the bum! Lucas is a Loser!
ReplyDeleteYou can't impeach the mayor.
ReplyDeleteAny other ideas?
Hey how's that fabulous recall effort going?
(I can tell you: it's already falling apart, mostly thanks to the shoddy way they introduced themselves, a lot of negative blowback from this pandering stunt, get an interview on the most racist website in town, good move guys!)
Getting an interview on Tony's Kansas City wasn't the brilliant move they thought it was? Wow!
DeleteFace the Nation, or Bash the Trump Administration. Same thing. Hasn't been any good since Tim Russert passed away. Margaret Brennan is in no way an impartial moderator. She's 100% opinion rather than straight news and beclowned herself supporting the impeachment. I'm sure Q-Ball is going to fit right in. Will probably blame the police and Trump for high crime rate and record homicides.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Face The Nation has sucked since Tim Russert passed away.
DeleteWhich is odd, as he was the host of MEET THE PRESS on ANOTHER FUCKING NETWORK, YOU IDIOT
His Covid response has hastened the ruination of KC. What else is there to discuss about that?
ReplyDeleteWhy would Face the Nation have a queer talk about Covid-19? No wonder their ratings suck.
ReplyDeleteNBA loves Commie China and hates the USA.
ReplyDeleteIn kind...viewership dipped and you can go to the dark web and see why few will watch it next year.
Larry Bird made people want to watch. LeBron makes people hate the NBA for politicizing.
Mayor 10-10-10 has no idea how bad he is nor what he is doing.
Mayor McDrinkerson! Good job at self-promoting!
ReplyDeleteToo bad you're complete failure as mayor.
Lucas declined to appear on "Face The Music" or "Face The Facts", and agreed to a brief segment on "Face The Nation" only after he was assured that Margaret Brennan wouldn't laugh at him.
ReplyDeleteI don't think he said anything factually wrong. Face the Nation HAS been awful since Tim Russert passed away. So has Meet the Press, for that matter. So simmer down now.
ReplyDeleteWhy import even more felons by bringing in the NBA?
ReplyDelete7:29...actually, he could be impeached. Weird.
ReplyDeleteThat's asking for trouble. You have record breaking crime among a race of people and you want to confine them in an arena. Now that's asking for more trouble.
