Kansas City Country Club Plaza Is Now Mostly Just For Protest

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 and social justice "mostly peaceful" rioting . . . At least two dozen storefronts on the Plaza have closed as we're reminded constantly by close TKC readers.

Thankfully, today there was a bit of activity in this shopping district turned into a protest staging ground but it didn't come from paying customers. Take a look:

'Our unity is our strength': At Women's March KC, speakers address intersectionality

Dozens gathered at Mill Creek Park Saturday afternoon during the KC Reale Womxn's Rally, where speakers focused on the intersections between the Black Lives Matter and women's movements. Attendees sat or stood, socially distanced, on the park grass to listen to speakers, including organizer Justice Gatson. Gatson encouraged voters to turn out in November.

Mayor Quentin Lucas will be remembered for decades for destroying Kansas City's treasure and landmark; the Plaza.

I thought the State Fair was held in August at Sedalia.

What's with the livestock being at the Plaza.

Note the photo was solely of the whoppers on stage, not the 9 attendees that were there.
