NAIA will allow student-athletes to be compensated for name, image, likeness
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, which is based in Kansas City, Missouri, announced Tuesday that it will allow its student-athletes to be compensated. NAIA President and CEO Jim Carr made the announcement, which paves the way for more than 77,000 student-athletes to be compensated for use of their name, image and likeness.
