Clay County Audit Dox Demanded By Judge

Northland political slap fighting gets more serious after a ruling in favor of complainers on the nice side of the bridge.

Whilst this debate among Republicans is difficult to unpack . . . Allegations of corruption among white people are still entertaining.

Judge Orders Embattled Clay County Commission To Hand Over Long-Sought Documents In State Audit

Almost a year after Missouri's auditor subpoenaed documents as part of a Clay County audit requested by thousands of citizens, a Missouri judge ordered the county commission to comply. The commission has been under scrutiny since the state launched an audit in 2018, following citizens' complaints.

  1. Tony, suggested theme music for this thread... The Doors, "This Is The End"!

Will Luanne, Gene and their outlaw cohorts get away before the trials begin?
Boys and Girls, stay tuned for our next exciting episode,
brought to you by the Taxpayers of Clay County!
Another possible theme might be "The Party's Over", but the first one seems more appropriate. Maybe the "William Tell Overture"...
LOCK 'EM UP! LOCK 'EM UP! LOCK 'EM UP, UP, UP!
LOCK 'EM UP! LOCK 'EM UP! LOCK 'EM UP, UP, UP!
LOCK 'EM UP! LOCK 'EM UP! LOCK 'EM UP, UP, UP!
LOCK 'EM UUUUUUPP! LOCK 'EM UP, UP, UP!

  2. I’ll take clay county over killa shitty and Jackson county any day, what’s going on up there doesn’t amount to one percent of the problems south of the river has, not evar.

  4. Galloway can't find any impropriety with the purchase of the coffee maker. Financial audits look at financial records not at privileged conversations during meetings.

Not only will she lose this election, she will have difficulty being re-elected in 2022.

  5. It's not just a financial audit @8:30, it is a general compliance audit under State Law that examines not only the finances, but the operational functions for compliance with both State and the County's own rules and laws. There ARE NO "privileged conversations" during meeting where County business is discussed, read the State Law regarding that.

That is why two (unnamed) Councilpersons have spent MILLION$ of taxpayer's dollars trying to thwart the Auditor's Office and prevent it doing its job.

There is much more at stake here than a coffeemaker, and you (Luanne? Gene?) damned well know it!

  6. "...two Councilpersons..." What???
Again, you have confused the clients you are trolling for.
The developers you are trolling for, on this issue, are trying to control Clay County not KC.

For $600 Nutle may be willing to get you a coffeemaker so you can be alert to the subject at hand. This post uses the term
    commission three times.

  7. @10:34, you are correct, I admit it.
I used the term "Councilpersons" when referring to the two crooked Commission Members who have stolen so much and done so much damage to Clay County over the past several years.

However I was not "Trolling for Developers", I am merely a heartsick Clay County resident who is extremely angry at the crap these two have gotten away with, and sick of hearing Nolte, the ONE COMMISSIONER who has tried to get some limitation to their outrageous and illegal actions described as a tool of the Developers.

If you want to discuss "Developers" however, let's look at the instance of one of these "Developers", who happens to be Gene Owen's biggest Campaign Contributor. This "Developer" owned, and for years was unable to sell, a piece of land located just over three miles from the County Court House.

Gene Owen and Luanne Ridgeway pushed through the idea of replacing the existing County Annex, at a cost of nearly $30 Million, as opposed to renovating the existing, (and paid for,) Annex at an estimated cost of $7 million. The existing Annex is located in the western part of the County, much nearer to the center of the County's population than the Court House is, and therefore is very busy. These two, over Nolte's objection, chose to locate their "new Annex" THREE MILES from the Court House, and again in the eastern part of the County, further away from the center of population! As part of the deal, those two COMMISSIONERS also agreed to give away the existing Annex, which the North Kansas City School District has had a standing offer to purchase on for years, AT NO COST to the same Developer!

So, while I again admit my error and agree that I used "Councilmember" when I should have posted "Commissioner", I assure you that I was not "trolling for Developers", I WAS TROLLING FOR CLAY COUNTY!

Oh, and Nolte didn't "buy a $600 Coffee Pot", Ridgeway and Owen approved that purchase, over his objections.
GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT AND ADMIT YOUR ERRORS, I DID!
