Big Bucks Power Bollier Surge In Kansas

At the very least, national media take notice when campaign finance reports show MILLIONS powering a list minute effort to make a historic flip in Kansas.

Reality check: Polling and history still suggest this lady is a long shot.

Nevertheless, this is the most competitive the Democratic Party has been in a Senate contest in years.

Read closely, beltway insiders admire the money but seem skeptical about the odds . . .

Party-switcher puts Kansas Senate seat in play for Democrats

So the Republican-turned-Democrat is barnstorming the state, hunting for other current or former Republican voters who share her view about the party's rightward turn. She held six"lawn chair chats" and a "bring back your ballot" rally this weekend to stump and take questions from voters in Trump counties - easy to find, since he won 103 out of 105 in the state.

  1. So I guess “big money” in politics is no big deal anymore? Funny how that works

  2. I regrettably voted for Obama, but the Democrats have gone off the deep end. They’ve become the party of lies, lawlessness, very late-term abortions, violence destroying once great American cities, high taxes on our paychecks to pay for socialist wet dreams, weak military, open borders, free healthcare for illegal aliens at taxpayer expense, defunding the police, sanctuary cities, taking away guns, sending $1.7 billion of our taxpayer dollars on pallets to Iranian radical leaders so they can kill more of our troops, packing the Supreme Court, and more idiotic ideas. No thanks.

  4. Bullshit Bollier is now running ads claiming she's a "moderate" now. Guess her internal polling says that she is about to get her ass handed to her.
    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  5. "Politico" is predicting a 20-point swing against Trump (unlikely) or a lesser swing with split-ballot voters (even less likely) for Bollier to win in Kansas. Please tell me who these voters are that would vote for Trump and Bollier? Maybe she has a nephew some place in PV that is a Trump supporter but feels like he needs to vote for his Aunt?

  6. Money quote:

There is no playbook in Kansas for how to run against a candidate with $25 million from New York, California and D.C.,” said Dave Kensinger, a veteran operative in Kansas. “Marshall has had to write that playbook as it goes, and that's a big challenge. But they're getting done what they have to get done.”

Notice how Politico glosses over the fact that she was elected a Republican with Republican $, resources, volunteers, and know-how. Once she was elected she then had a "change in mind" of what party she wants to be a part of? -----NO------ She was never a Republican. She knew she'd never be elected to KS Senate with Democrat label so she went along as a Republican in a center-right district. She was elected a couple of times and once she dropped Republicans she knew she couldn't be reelected. She's running as a Democrat now and never uses the word Democrat (she's always saying she's independent). The only reason she's running so strong is the out-of-state money. You know, those NY and CA donors that really care about Kansas voters.

    WORST NIGHTMARE FOR KANSAS

  7. Voted for Obama the 1st go-around. Thought he was middle of the road candidate that would reach across party lines and I hated Palin. Once socialized medicine, over regulation, pandering to labor unions, appointing "activists", and the divisiveness of his administration began I moved back to Republican party. No bit of "hope" can mask the massive left shift that he supported on EVERY issue from economic to international policy. It was overwhelming and suffocating the US economy. No leadership.

  8. Her campaign makes a great deal about Marshall making millions yet nothing about how she was able to comfortably retire to Mission Hills after only working 12 years for her Daddy.

  9. BARBARA BOLLIER

3 GENERATIONS OF PRO-ABORTION, AND HER FATHER WAS ON THE PLANNED PARENTHOOD BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

"DR." BARBARA BOLLIER HASN'T PRACTICED MEDICINE IN OVER 20 YEARS. HOW COME SHE NEVER TALKS ABOUT THE REASON WHY SHE QUIT PRACTICING?

"DAUGHTER OF A NURSE" BARABARA BOLLIER, NEGLECTED TO MENTION IN HER COMMERCIALS THAT SHE ALSO GREW UP THE DAUGHTER OF A MISSION HILLS PHYSICIAN.

BARBARA BOLLIER'S DAUGHTER IS A RADICAL LGBT PRO-ABORTION ADVOCATE FOR LIBERAL DEMOCRATS. WHY DID BOLLIER SEND HER TO AUSTRALIA WHILE SHE CAMPAIGNS FOR THE SENATE IN CONSERVATIVE KANSAS?

  10. Voted for Trump the 1st go-around. Thought he was middle of the road candidate that would reach across party lines and I hated Palin. Once the deficit exploded, he shit-mouthed our veterans, playing puppet for Russia, pandering to white supremacists, appointing "activists", and the divisiveness of his administration began I moved back to Democrat party. No bit of "make America Great" can mask the massive failure of all of policies that he supported on EVERY issue from the failed border wall to international policy. It was overwhelming and suffocating the US economy. No leadership.

  11. There hasn't been this much money wasted on a "sure thing" candidate since Jeb Bush's fiasco in the Republican primary.
Really a shame, but you can't change a candidate's record with TV advertising.
Bollier's a party-switcher, and that cuts negatively both ways.

  13. Politico is another liberal rag. Bollier is pro abortion, anti-guns, will vote Democrat if elected. She stole money from her campaign fund. The liberal big money is behind her. She doesn’t represent Kansas values. Marshall by 30.

  14. I went to Shawnee Mission East High school with Barbara in the 1975 era. She was a "elite" popular girl there, all the Mission Hills kids were known and given special treatment. She was part of the "pretty crowd", the girls that all had a shot at homecoming queen.

I was just a plain Prairie Village student whos father was a very successful business owner for 45 years and we lived on a 1.30 acre lot in Town and Country. But I was shit because I was not from Mission Hills. The teachers at East were so bias.

  15. 11:04 >>> She was a Theta at KU and continued to be a popular girl. Dad was a big-wig physician and was a part of the country club crowd. She didn't leave KU to go live in Salina or Wichita. She ended up back in Mission Hills. Married another rich physician who could forgo the pay of an anesthesiologist to be a stay-at-home mom that spent weekdays with the kids at the pool and chatting with the ladies about the deplorables mowing their yard, cleaning their homes, growing their food, fixing their cars, watching their kids, and serving them whenever needed. She's about as in-touch with Kansas I'm in touch with the people of Kyrgyzstan.

  16. Wow. Gladys Kravitz, you seem to have your nose in everyone's business. Maybe quit being such a gossiping little bitch, and worry about your own backyard. How about that?

  17. 11:19 - does anyone really ever leave KU looking to go live in Salina or Wichita? And she seems plenty in touch with residents of Johnson County, where she lives.

  21. Yeah - she's a real woman of the world. Grew up in Mission Hills, went to KU, moved to Mission Hills. Maybe she vacationed in Australia with her daughter and met some Aboriginals. At least Marshall has spent time outside of a bubble. This lady is N-U-T-S...nuts

  22. Her opponent literally killed a fertilized egg and you are accusing her of being pro-abortion?

  23. Bollier will vote with Pelosi a majority of the time. She is not in favor of gun ownership and supports late term abortions. She may be in touch with Mission Hills but she’s not in touch with the middle class as mentioned earlier.
