CELEBRATORY GUNFIRE BROKE OUT NEAR THE COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA AND STARTLED BAR PATRONS WATCHING THE GAME!!!
Sadly, it's a stretch to claim that bullets flying by are "terrifying" given that this is KCMO and shooting scenes are now commonplace amid a historically violent 2020.
Special thanks to KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS who sent us notes on the scare after the game and inspired the write-up that's a bit more pertinent to local life than the outcome of the
basketball football game.
The basics . . . The sound of gunfire echoed through the west part of the Plaza in the final moments of the EPIC win and startled a few bar patrons and neighbors. Suspect & car info was reported and drinking continued for a couple more hours as the game night crowd was DRASTICALLY diminished thanks to Kansas City coronavirus crackdown rules and the pandemic economy that's even more rigged than pro-sports.
