This KICK-ASS TKC READER report sparked our interest today and so we did a bit of follow-up and got two similar answers and two even more confusing replies.
Here's the word and a completely valid question . . .
"I inquired to the KC Election Board as to how I would know if my mail in ballot was received and counted for this year's Nov 3 election. See response below.
"Hi [TKC READER] - you are able to check that approximately 2 weeks after the election by phoning the election board."

Now, to be fair, Missouri has a ballot check system that's really cumbersome and not worth wasting much time to check . . . But there's also a significant delay in vote checking across the metro that local media have yet to mention.
Moreover, the reality is that there is a great deal of doubt among local voters in the mail-in voting system despite recent reassurances.
