Sprint Campus Revival Plan Revealed

New hope for the Golden Ghetto as Overland Park politely ignores all of the layoffs underway.

Take a look:

Occidental Management submits Sprint campus development plan to Overland Park

A preliminary development plan for the former Sprint world headquarters campus was submitted Wednesday to the city of Overland Park. Occidental Management, a Wichita-based commercial real estate development firm, bought the 17-building, 200-acre campus in July 2019 for roughly $251 million.

Will Sprint phones miraculously start to work from that location when they are finished?

Great place for section 8 housing and a BLM office. Be close to all those Liberial Karen's that back them.

Has Overland park recouped the millions they fronted as "development incentives" for the former Sprint campus.
Not many corporate promises that ever saw the light of day.

It's an urban myth that Sprint phones didn't work on or near campus. I went there hundreds of times for business sales calls and my phone always worked without exception. I never dropped a call from there and could always get a signal.

Be curious to see how many tax incentives they ask for and get to redevelop the property ON TOP of the millions that were given to Sprint way back when to build the damn thing to begin with.
