SHOCK!!! SUPPORTERS FEAR CORONAVIRUS & SEND LOVE AFTER JASON KANDER TAKES RARE SICK DAY!!!
In an oddball announcement via social media, Kansas City's top ranking, rising star Democratic Party power player announced that he was taking a bit of recovery time . . .
@JasonKander wrote: "Sick in bed. Napping and watching tv . . ."
The discussion veered off into the merits of silly Neflix nostalgia programming whilst more devoted supporters shared their concerns . . .
"Please feel better soon. America needs your input and wisdom in these trying times."
"Have you seen a doctor? Remember if a cold lasts over three days, it may not be a cold."
"Not Covid-19 I hope. Feel better."
Again, we note that the sick day is odd given that Mr. Kander is an avid runner and often shares workout pix with is legion of online fans.
So far there has been no official announcement and our TKC blog community wishes Mr. Kander a speedy recovery.
Whilst Jason Kander has inspired controversy with his passionate criticism of Prez Trump, generally, Kansas City has been overwhelmingly supportive of his advocacy for veterans.
Accordingly, a great many people don't realize that the pandemic has hit the troops exceptionally hard.
Check the links:
Stars & Stripes: More than 3,000 VA patients have now died from the coronavirus
Military Times: Veterans Affairs has now reported more than 50,000 coronavirus cases
AARP: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is increasing efforts to protect its most vulnerable patients from the coronavirus by prohibiting visitors at its 134 nursing homes and 24 spinal cord injury centers.
Again, Jason Kander has NOT recently confirmed or denied his COVID status but that hasn't stopped the outpouring of love from a great many of his supporters who still regard the young Vet, talker, author and advocate as Kansas City's last political hope.
