We're noticing some interesting trolls and push back against this group of people near Liberty, MO who are too afraid to push back against their own Clay County officials who have also endorsed the mask mandate.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Protesters rallied Wednesday, calling for the recall of Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas. They've filed the necessary paperwork with the city clerk and are now hoping to gather the necessary 10,000 signatures that, if certified, could lead to a recall vote.

  1. Did Lucas hire his friends from blm to create a media backlash? There’s no eveidence that any citizens are protesting the recall.

  9. It’s been 7 years since BLM was formed, since then it has raised over a billion dollars but have not had one neighborhood cleanup, sent 1 poor black child to college, bought school supplies, fed the hungry, housed the homeless, donated to a food bank, or provided housing to one poor black family.

  11. Mayor McDrinkerson should know better by now than to try to look like he's governing anything but his public image.

  12. This isn't about the masks only! This is about the corruption, hate and racism going on due to Quinton Lucas. It's also about the job he's NOT doing, like fixing the streets and taking tax money NOT PERSONAL MONEY to paint racist slogans on the streets by PREDOMINATELY BLACK URBAN DEMOCRATS.

  13. Race is not the reason for the recall. They are anti-homosexual.

  14. I voted for Mayor Q and supported him during the first shut down. However multiple things have changed my mind in my support for him since them. I no longer feel he has the best interest of the people of Kansas City overall. He has done nothing about the crime situation here. Kansas City is not safe and it is getting worse, much worse, by the week. Also after seeing him not wear a mask nor social distance multiple times all the while he refuses to allow small business owners to have more than 10 customers I can no longer take him seriously as a competent leader. Also at this point there is no need for such business restrictions considering the Covid death rate has dropped and local hospitals have seen a decline in serious Covid cases. Also the cases now are from outbreaks at house parties, back yard get togethers and graduation parties. Restricting bars and restaurants makes zero sense at this point and is only hurting business owners and hard working employees. He needs to resign. I do not know any business owner in this town that still supports him. He also has done zero about the increasing homeless population and trash pick up. Kansas City is worse than it has even been with this guy in charge. He needs to keep businesses open, clean up the city, and do something serious about the crime. But I do not feel he will. I no longer view him as a competent leader here.

    1. Well spoken. But that MFer will have his hand-out for more money to burn after he bankrupts the city. He’ll be playin’ the Covid card, when, in fact it’s his own fault.

  15. My guess is the Northland will want sovereignty from KCMO and become just like JOCO and understandably so. No one wants to live in a place where you can't operate a business and is riddled with crime. I do not blame them. Mayor Q is incompetent and sets a poor example.

    ReplyDelete
  16. ^^and yet without a tax base to sustain it, will have no infrastructure, amenities, or public safety. Your narrative dies on its on stupidity.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Who do you think pays the taxes in this town? The business owners and employees. Separate from KC and they will have their own jurisdiction , resources, and tax money. Hmm........Not so weird......

    ReplyDelete
  18. Mayor Q could save his career if he does something about the sky rocketing crime and keeps businesses open with less restrictions. If he doesn't his career is done in KC. He turned his back on law enforcement and business owners. Not a smart move.

  19. Yeah, there’s a bunch of Karens in the northland. Surprise surprise.

  20. KC north of river in Clay and Platte counties should form one or two new cities. KCMO covers way too many square miles.

  21. There are a bunch of racists in City Hall. Surprise, surprise.

  22. Why are people like Lucas and most of the rest of elected clowns in KCMO and Jackson County focused on "their careers" in politics, rather than at least trying to do decent jobs with the current responsibilities they have?
City government consists of providing basic services to residents, businesses, and visitors, all three and trying to provide an environment that's attractive, predictable, and affordable.
It's not endless pompous speeches, desperate press conferences, making fools of themselves arguing with commentators on TV, and cowardly folding to every demand from one self-appointed special interest group or another.
With Lucas, its' all entertainment, all the time, and completely detached from the results of his terrible decisions on the very people who live in KCMO.
    Sad.

  24. U.S. Perceptions of White-Black Relations Sink to New Low

    https://news.gallup.com/poll/318851/perceptions-white-black-relations-sink-new-low.aspx

That's due to crime, thug culture, the miserable excuses for "leaders" that they put in office, and screams of "RACISM!" every single time something does not go their way. The world owes you nothing. It was here first. Get over your butthurt, take the chip off your shoulder, nut up, take responsibility for your own actions and shut your word hole.
