Overnight: The Kansas City Blues

For our most dedicated readers and insomniacs (same difference) we share a late night hope that not every denizen of the discourse is mired in partisan hatred and huddled under their blankets in fear of whatever tragedy cable news is capitalizing on tonight.

Accordingly, we share just a bit of local culture and one of our favorite iconic tunes.

About the artist: Walter Brown "Brownie" McGhee (November 30, 1915 – February 16, 1996) was an American folk music and Piedmont blues singer and guitarist, best known for his collaboration with the harmonica player Sonny Terry.

Take a look & listen was we offer just a brief moment of respite from the otherwise acerbic discourse . . .

Hopefully, more for the morning update . . . STAY TUNED!!!
