OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Possible changes to the newly created public comment period at Overland Park City Council meetings, a source of controversy in recent months, are drawing sharp criticism from residents and some council members. Bob Hoffman and others hoped to speak about the 2018 fatal shooting of 17-year-old John Albers at an August council meeting.
