Mizzou Restarts Social Justice Protest

Remember that through 2015–16 the University of Missouri was a hotspot for protest following complaints of racism on campus. Athletes took center stage in the struggle which not only earned national acclaim but also sparked backlash from politicos and donors.

This week, we're seeing student athletes restart those efforts.

Mizzou student-athletes demand change for social injustices

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Hundreds of University of Missouri athletes, students, coaches, and community members marched across MU's campus Wednesday to protest social injustices and police brutality across the nation. The University of Missouri Black Student-Athlete Association (BSAA), which formed in August, organized the march that started at the columns on Francis Quadrangle and ended with a sit-in and speeches from student-athletes at Faurot Field.

As a geriatric fucktard with decades of reference, the ignorance of the liberally educated young is so obvious. There is no substitute for experience and accumulated knowledge.

Since this is obviously a class project, why don’t they offer extra credit and send them to Tijuana Mexico and protest the police there?
Get a little lesson on what police abuse truly is

Student athletes? That is an oxymoron at Mizzou.

"Complaints of racism" That did not exist. Harmed the University beyond measure and still is. More lunacy from the young.

Are they going to have fake "racist vandalism" again? Too bad Melissa Glick got punted. That rabid lezbo loves this stuff.

When I read that none of them can find jobs and are still living with their parents at 30, I will only understand why.

They also fail to understand that employers look at social media accounts now.

They are young and idealistic, easily led. We were that way once. Let them have their day in the sun.

Pull these spoiled brats athletic scholarships and let them work to pay their tuition, room and board like the other kids.

They might have a different perspective on life.
