The inglorious moneyballl slugger picked up one last coronavirus check and is now calling it quits. Real baseball fans wanted him OUT two seasons ago and today's farewell was mostly met with relief and disgust by everybody but sports talkers who are paid to be sentimental.

Royals' Gordon to retire after 14 years with team
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon, a former first-round pick whose roller-coaster career took him from near bust to All-Star and Gold Glove winner, announced Thursday he will retire after the season.
Good in the field, but he just can't hit. Bubba ditto.
ReplyDeleteCould have kept Hosmer, Cain, or Moose
ReplyDeletebut kept Alex
never relevant again
go Royals
He had a dozen good years and always played the game the right way. Time caught up with him but as a fan he will be missed.
ReplyDeleteMost unhappy looking $64 millionaire ever. His Joe Badass demeanor got old.
ReplyDeleteAnd he had a BIG one.
ReplyDeleteHe has a ring and I’m happy for him and all Royals fans for 2015.
ReplyDeleteHosmer and Cain weren't staying. They could have kept Moose anyway, they just chose not to. Letting Davis go cost them one more shot at the playoffs, but they could have kept him too if they wanted.
ReplyDeleteGordo's getting a statue and going up on the board with Houser, White and Brett. Suck it haters.
5:42 You’re a cunt
ReplyDeleteAlex has been an all around good person and good community guy as compared to a majority of NFL thugs.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad he is finally retiring. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all but he's about 3 years too late. He cannot hit and has always been over rated.
