'I'm Scared to Go Back To Work,' Says Kansas City Resident Who Describes Lasting Trauma From COVID-19

Things have improved for Vanessa Radford, 34, since she was hit by COVID-19 three months ago. She feels better, at least physically. "Mentally, I have PTSD," she said. "I'm scared to go back to work. (I wonder if) they are they taking precautions. Are they going to be taking tempareatures?

  1. Give me a break, that thing on her face is probably more detrimental than COVID. The swine flu was a painful flu but people got through it. She should probably stay home the rest of her life.

  15. Wow, 34 looks ridden hard and put away wet. Something doesn't add up though - you have to be let go (fired) to collect unemployment, quitting doesn't count (and makes no sense). Like all NPR/KCUR crap we will never know because journalism is puddle deep.
