A TKC reader notices that City Hall is making sure the toy train water mains are new whilst the rest of KCMO crumbles . . . A well-hidden bit of legislation reminds us that millions worth of Fed money for rail transit won't cover the maintenance required to keep the streetcar running.
Recently, water main breaks shut down the streetcar for an entire weekend . . . Here's a look at the solution and one more reason why local rates will spike:

ReplyDeleteTrump gave Lucas federal money for this and taxes were raised to hideous levels on properties that are way over valued for a city like ours, a GO Bond was passed to fix infrastructure that was never fixed and liberals in the city are bent over with their hands around their ankles. Oh and don't forget the tax payer money that painted the streets with hate graffiti.

Live in KC. Just came from grocery shopping NKC. Retired. No sales taxes in KC last/this year. Gladstone and Amazon are my other shopping venues. Water is the only screwing KC can do to me. Fuck Bunch!!!!!
