KANSAS CITY PEACE & JUSTICE MARCH DOMINATED DOWNTOWN STREETS!!!
We talked about this march at the outset of this week and today it turned into new fact . . . Take a look:
KMBC: March held in Kansas City Friday for racial equality, justice
"Marchers arrived at the lawn of the World War I Memorial after making their way from Kansas City Police Department headquarters.
"The peaceful demonstration called for an end to police brutality and racism.
"The march was in honor of the 57th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s march on Washington, commemorating the Civil Rights movement with the march on Kansas City."
Meanwhile . . .
The march also demanded the removal of KCPD Chief Smith but that controversial political push didn't make news coverage as speakers and media chose to offer locals a positive spin in tribute to MLK.

KCTV5: “This nation was born out of protest,” said Congressman Emanuel Cleaver II. “It is as American as America. We have not only the right to protest but we are negligent if we don’t protest when we see wrong.”
