Kansas City Chiefs Fans Politely Ignore Kneeling Player Now Injured

Linked only because a few eagle-eyed denizens of our blog community noticed the social justice protest that was largely downplayed by local MSM amid booing outrage.

Chiefs DE Alex Okafor ruled out with hamstring injury

The Kansas City Chiefs are seeing some early attrition along the defensive line. First, second-year DT Khalen Saunders was ruled out with an elbow injury. Now, they've lost their second defensive lineman for the night with DE Alex Okafor being ruled out with a hamstring injury.

I'm ignoring the "Chefs" as a whole and it is anything but polite. 😏

I have never wanted to wish bad things on anyone but I have no concern for these low life people. Injured? Good you people deserve worst than a little pulled muscle. BTW Notice his black panther hate whitey fist? And then people go pay money to watch them. Pathetic. White people are and never have been as racist as blacks are now.

Hopefully Okafor's hammy can get better so he can kneel for next games national anthem.

NFL is a joke right now.

Why anyone would pay $60 for parking, $200 for a ticket to watch NFLer's who are racist play a kids game is beyond me.

Kansas Governor Granny told Okafor to get a flu shot.

Thanks Granny !

and yet Sunday afternoon's Fox game was the highest rating in four years! So weird. I thought you fools were boycotting?

And yet overall NFL ratings are down. Weird.

The BLM Kneeling Curse continues. Don't tempt the vigilant spirits of the souls of all races who died for this country by kneeling during the National Anthem and American flag. They have powers much stronger than a million men.

^^and yet that game set a four year high. So weird.

Ohhhhh ... one game ratings. Impressive. Unweird.

The games will always continue to be watched by the politically ignorant, those who barely have a comprehension of our two-party system. I won't go to games, but even when I did it was only with free tickets. These multi-millionaire athletes wouldn't piss on you to save your life. It's been that way for decades. Maybe some people are making more noise about it now with the progressiveism, but it's really not likely to change much in the end. Both sides of the spectrum even, progs who hate sports will still hate sports regardless of the pandering political bent to it. Those who might vaguely associate with the Rep party, but religiously watch games aren't going to stop. Me and the politically aware on this board will continue personal changes in our lives regarding the progressive political fight against America, but in the grand scheme it means very little.

I think that the writing is on the wall, all of the major sports leagues days are numbered... A 100 years ago, all of the top 4 sports were different than today, with the exception of baseball that's hanging on for dear life... Times change regardless, but these sports leagues aren't doing themselves any favors in the long term by siding with the woke mob, especially when their revenues have already been cut by the scamdemic... Plus players salaries are already out of control, and it's unsustainable.

The most despicable phenomena I've witnessed is liberals calling the unfurling of the flag and the following salute a political statement. It's not a political statement in any way, shape, or form. It's a show of respect for those who have served and those who continue to serve our nation...the very same nation in which they are afforded the freedom to make such absurd claims without repercussions

Just want to point out that all sports leagues usually set a peak on opening day/kickoffs, then ratings continually drop as season moves toward the midway point and then it usually kicks back up towards the playoff push and sets a new peak for the championship game. I Expect NFL ratings to continue to drop every weekend til thanksgiving.

When I searched, the Washington Times said there was a 16.1% Nielson Ratings reduction over 2019. Here's the link:

What is there that says ràtungs went yp?

11:59 it's being reported that Fox did have a 2% increase over last year. But it based on the other less watched games leads some to not only question the rating but to also say okay so what the rest tanked and that is whats important here.

Anonymous said...

^^and yet it's not and Fox posted a tremendous increase in game ratings second only to the SuperBowl. So as per usual Simpledave you have zero idea what you're talking about. Boycott failed. Weird.

Last night's debut of NFL Sunday Night Football on NBC (CMCSA +1%) was a ratings disappointment, with viewership falling off double-digits from last year's Sunday-night opener despite a close game and the ratings draw of the Dallas Cowboys.

The game (in which the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cowboys 20-17) hit a 4.7 rating and 14.81M viewers among adults 18-49, in early numbers.

That's a fall of 28% in ratings terms, and 23% in terms of viewers.

While those early figures lack West Coast numbers (on a game featuring an L.A. team), they at least look to be of a troubling piece with Thursday's season kickoff, also on NBC, where early ratings fell off 16% year-over-year.

Which may be adding up to discouraging news for other key NFL broadcast tickers: ABC/ESPN (DIS +0.3%), Fox (FOX +2.1%, FOXA +2%), CBS (VIAC +2.3%, VIACA +2.9%), and Sunday Ticker holder AT&T (T +0.8%).

At least we know who our least favorite player is, now, and bet he isn’t here next year at this time. Karma is also a bitch. Maybe Mayor Suck Me Long Time can give him some pointers on how to safely kneel. It is also reported Granny wants to vaccinate this loser, personally, on his bare bum.

TV ratings are down from last year.

That's really bad since over a million fans that attend NFL games each Sunday cannot go to the stadium because of Wuhan Flu restrictions.

So the league had an additional 1 million fans to watch the games on t.v. who chose not to.

Plus, folks cannot go do other activities such as Major League baseball, college football games, high school outdoor sports, restaurants, movies etc. on weekends due to Covid shutdowns of restaurants etc.

NFL ratings were still down when one would think millions of these folks with no alternative entertainment would be tuning in the NFL for something to watch.

In light of the above; NFL t.v. ratings were horrible plus lost revenue due to empty stadiums.

and yet they weren't at all. Fox posted it's highest ratings for a football game in four years and the afternoon Fox game was the highest rated TV show all week! Boom! Narratives destroyed. Boycott failed! So weird!

Anonymous said...

^^^^Your preaching to an empty head, mainly yours. Weird.

That just isn't true, 2:42, and I've done a lot of Googiing looking for it. Everything I've seen says this year has far fewer viewers than last year.
Boycott? COVID? Lack of pre-season?

Anonymous said...

^^except it isn't and if you had, you would've seen FOX post it's best football rating in 4 years. It's the first thing that comes up Maude!! Jesus Christ, I can't show you how. learn to work the PC! Boycott failed. Weird.

Well, I just Googled agáin, 3:29, and found;
"Actually, now the final numbers are in, make that a multi-year loss for the league and the Comcast-owned network"
"Up against NBA and NHL playoffs, Thursday’s Chiefs-Texans game jumped up to an audience of 19.3 million on NBC in adjusted numbers, a figure that grew to 20.3 million when near-record digital platform viewership was factored in.’

Funny how the resident libtard troll is defending Fox because they were the only ones with an increase in ratings with the blm NFL. Deny it all you want but fans have walked. STFU and play the goddam game your worthless ass is paid to play. Protest and do the SJW thing on your own time. This is going to backfire on them like the MLB strike did. Baseball never really recovered from that. Be careful who you get in bed with, especially when those Marxists plan on eating you when you are of no use to them.

https://www.breitbart.com/sports/2020/09/15/weak-1-monday-night-football-ratings-crash-by-over-20-amid-social-justice-protests/

The second game of the Monday Night Football double-header, saw another notable drop of 2.5 million viewers from last year’s mark.

These numbers are bad, needless to say. However, the full context of how bad they are can’t be appreciated until you factor in two notable variables that have been included in this year’s rating formula which should be helping the NFL, but aren’t.

First, as Outkick reports, roughly 1.2 million fans aren’t attending the games live. Which, in theory, should add to the television numbers since it would be assumed that those fans would be watching at home. Second, speaking of the home, out-of-home viewers are now accounted for in the ratings process for the first time.

So, the NFL should see its numbers bolstered by those factors. Instead, we’re seeing that maybe those factors are just making the difference between a 27 percent decline in the ratings and a 31 percent decline, or whatever.

Either way, the NFL and their broadcast partners have an enormous problem on their hands.

Denial is such a bitch. Amusing to watch them screaming, "ALL IS WELL!" Like Kevin Bacon in Animal House. 🤣

I echo the thanks Super Dave. I appreciate you for digging into the numbers. What continues to amaze me is how these sports teams lose sight of their customers and are so arrogant they believe people are like sheep who will keep coming back to the trough. Speaking for myself, I’m done with these fools. Too many other ways, productively, fill time.
