The Kansas City, Missouri, Health Department has reached out to 10 people urging them to self-quarantine after they may have been exposed to COVID-19 at the Chiefs' home opener last week.The department said an individual who attended the game and watched from a group's box in Arrowhead Stadium last Thursday tested positive for the coronavirus the very next day.

^^^ There probably is a basis for a class action lawsuit against the NFL for hosting a large gathering and endangering the lives of both those who attended the game and those who will subsequently get infected with corona virus.

I went to that game. I had a blast. I drank like nine beers, didn't have to wait in line to pee in the trough, and had a good ol' time. I tomahawk chopped, sang home of the CHIEFS, and wore war paint. No one said shit to me and we all had a great time. If you are so worried about COVID, don't leave your home, or if you do, wear a mask. Dont want your kids' lungs scarred for life (fake news), then keep them at home too. Lock them in their bedrooms with their X-Box and porn. That will be good for them. A majority of us choose to live life and if we get it, we get it. Can't wait to attend my next Chiefs game. Tickets are a bargain right now.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that if you test positive, whether you have symptoms or not, those around you must go into quarantine! Seems to me the initial person would show some sign of illness before considering someone else to be put away for 2 weeks especially if they haven’t tested positive yet. Seems to me that this current protocol is a barrier to testing because whether sick or not, if positive you will be put away along with your entire household!
