Kansas City BLM Street Mural Postscript

Here's a glimpse at local conversation from a creative point of view that attempts to highlight artists over keyboard & armchair pundits . . . Checkit:

We Asked the Six BLM Artists Their Biggest Takeaways From Last Weekend - In Kansas City

One week ago today, six artists took to the streets alongside more than 1,000 volunteers to paint Black Lives Matter murals on six Kansas City, Missouri, streets. Organizers say the KC Art on the Block project was the largest of its kind. With 1,200+ gallons of paint handy, teams got together to hand-paint the murals last...

  1. Artists? Painting one syllable words on the street?

Let me know when they complete something as complex as the Sistine chapel, then I’ll call them artists
Until then, they’re just overhyped road crew

  2. Tacky and racist.

All Lives splatter, don't care about your protests, now get your asses out of the road.

  3. Only air craft can see it, Alien scouts: "Oh fuck they're here too?! Lock the doors and GTFOH!"

Even ET don't want no part of this shit. Says, thanks for the warning signs.

  4. An uplifting colorful message of love and unity at a time when our nation needs hope and unity.

Gotta love the flowing energy and uplifting fine print.

This is the time, we are the people, we are the future of the nation.

    Go KC. Peace Out

    1. Good Morning KC.

The murals are repelling racists and bringing down good spiritual juju.

A known racist departed KC in a Trans Am.

A white appropriater from KC renounced her evil charade as a woke black professor.

Olivia found the courage to head to Georgia.

Racists dug deep to recall Q and came up with lint.

Today is a beautiful clear sunny day. My spiritual journey today will be to visit as many murals as possible.

I am nervous about taking new routes on the bus system and appreciate any good vibes.

I will look for the best quality in each mural and plan to leave a flower or small donation at each one.

I will look for the good in everyone I encounter.

      Peace out KC.

  10. Remember when the city in 1990s had painted cows from place to downtown... that was art..

THESE BLACK LIVES MATTER MURALS are colorful big duds...

HOW about MURALS going for blocks with THE 10 COMMAMDMENTS..

    JESUS SAVES.. GOD IS LOVE..

    THE LORD IS MY SHEPARD...

WE WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT...

TRUST IN THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH HEART..

THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH..

HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU....

ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR AND RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE...

WHEN MY PEOPLE THAT ARE CALLED BY MY NAME WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND CALL ON MY NAME THEN I WILL HEAL THEIR LAND..

BY HIS STRIPES I AM HEALED...

THIS IS TRUTH FOLKS.. LET'S PUT THE WORD OF GOD DOWN FOLKS AND RUN THE DEVIL OUT OF ALL THESE CITIES.. AMEN

  11. My bowel movements are better pieces of art than these BLM murals. Hopefully, the road salt will erode these masterpieces. Now, if we could get rid of Peter Sucker, we could see a glimmer of hope.
