KANSAS CITY 2020 HOMICIDE #139: DRUNKEN HOUSE PARTY TURNS DEADLY!!!

Here's the aftermath of late night boozing as this town's murder rate keeps pushing closer to an all-time record.

Check the police narrative on the family feud:

Police responded at 11 p.m. to a home near 67th Street and Brooklyn Avenue after someone called in a shooting. There officers found a man near the front door. He had been shot.

Responding medical crews tried to save the man's life, but he died from his injuries.

As officers spoke to the eyewitnesses at the home, they told police that some of the adults were drinking alcohol. One person picked up a gun and threatened another person in the house. The person who was threatened then picked up a gun of their own and shot the man, the eyewitnesses told police.

The shooter surrendered to police at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, according to the police department.

To be fair, this one might later be ruled self-defense/justifiable homicide and taken off the local count . . . But at this point it's being investigated as a murder.

  1. It's at least a manslaughter because of the booze. And the story from a bunch of drunk people might not stand up.

  3. If you're drinking and have handguns sitting around you should be charged accordingly is my opinion but not all sates agree with that. But knowing Baker she'll sit on her hands and do nothing. There is or was a Missouri statute that makes it legal to "carry a gun while intoxicated, and even fire it if 'acting in self-defense."

But lets see, a couple in St Louis who were sober just held their guns in public and were viciously attacked by the media for doing so and later had charges so who knows what will happen.

So guess we have to wait till the whole story comes out.

  7. The story is a lie, I would tell all my friends at the party to tell the popo that he pulled a gun first. I think the police see right through this fabrication.

I’m just curious why they thought they had to lie, Petersucker would let them off the hook anyway.

  10. "Homicide" means the killing of another human being. This may or may not be murder or manslaughter, or self defense or justifiable, but by definition it definitely is homicide.

  13. Meanwhile, in the major leagues, Baltimore has 228 murders and Chicago has 541. St Louis has a respectable 191 murders.

In the Junior Fake Hoodrat trainee league, Kansas City has a mere 139.

    1. Meanwhile, in KC, you still have no concept of per capita crime stats or you would grasp we have more murders per capita than Chicago. Idiot.
