Jackson County audit find millions in problematic contracts

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Jackson County's government spent millions on no-bid contracts or did not reevaluate contracts for years in violation of the county's charter, according to a state audit released Wednesday. The audit also found the county lacked transparency in how it spent millions on legal, lobbying and other professional services, Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway said in a news release.

    they both glory on gloating about Jackson County's mismanagement, but how can they do so without reflecting well on Galloway, since they are also desperate to try to prop up that "Prissy Parson Person" in every way they can.
