Dog dies in Sunday afternoon apartment fire in Lenexa, Kansas
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One dog died in a Sunday afternoon apartment fire in Lenexa, Kansas. Fire crews from Lenexa, Overland Park and Shawnee arrived just before 3:30 p.m. at The Retreat at Woodridge Apartments, 8818 Hauser Drive. Police helped evacuate the three-story building, according to a Lenexa Fire Department news release.
