Jackson County Historic Truman Courthouse closed due to 'several' COVID-19 cases
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Jackson County Historic Truman Courthouse in Independence is closed due to "several" COVID-19 cases, a county spokesperson said Thursday. The courthouse, located at 112 W. Lexington Ave., will be closed through Sept. 20 after several employees tested positive for COVID-19.
So the county couldn't prevent a breakout in this tiny-ass old courthouse? What happens if one infected person goes into the big one downtown, rides the elevators, uses the toilets, goes to the assesssment office there and then over to collections? How many people is the bug going to get spread to?
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to figure this one out. The number of infections in Jackass county was at its highest in August and Frank White decided to have all the employees come back into the courthouses because...
ReplyDeleteWouldn't we save money on all these courthouse offices and have less health risk, if those offices stayed closed and the employees kept working from home? The county might also figure out it doesn't need so many chief administrative officers, deputy chiefs, assistant deputy chiefs, directors, assistant directors, managers, assitant managers and supervisors doing all this supervising of the employees (and nothing else).
