COUNT ON KANSAS CITY COUNCIL DUDE ERIC BUNCH TO STAND UP FOR DOWNTONW LUXURY LIVING SPACE!!!

Double plus good for the 4th District council dude who remains mostly a stranger on the Westside and Northeast . . . Despite his eagerness to provide bike lanes that nobody wanted in urban neighborhoods.

Here's his latest crusade in order to fight for the rights for people paying 3K-A-Month rent and up . . .

KSHB: KCMO councilman concerned about lack of Census data from downtown apartments

Deets:

"Census workers, according to Bunch, are telling the city they cannot get inside some of the apartment complexes to do their work. "We had something like 8,000 individual cases," Bunch said. "Those are generally doors, all of which are in multi-family buildings, who were not being given access whether they couldn’t get anyone to open up the door for them or the property management was flat out refusing to let them in." Cordish Properties, which owns One Light and Two Light, has more than 200 cases of units not filling out the Census, according to documents obtained by 41 Action News."

The census is an important money grab for city all and just as much as any other special interest . . . Gentrification cheerleaders like Council Dude Bunch want their demographics counted.

  3. Maybe no one is opening the apartment doors because no one actually lives there.
    Ghost apartments.
Just like the rest of the make-believe vibrancy and success of downtown KCMO.
    The city that ALWAYS sleeps!
Make sure those bond payments get made, KCMO taxpayers!

  4. Was just out to dinner in OP. Awesome time. Great mix of people having an enjoyable time and having fun together. Talked to folks that said they’d rather be safe, have fun, and enjoy great food. Awesome job to the city of OP!

  5. We are being told these apartments are occupied by young computer-literate millennials, and yet they can't complete an online census form? Weird. It took me about five minutes.

  8. Is homosexuality required to be a registered Democrat? I know almost every Democrat is enthusiastic about being a homosexual, but is it required?

  13. Apparently, Bunch doesn't understand the census process. The census is mailed to residents so workers do not have to get into the buildings.

  14. At the end of the day the Council thugs grab as much money as they can from the general fund for their own. The paying areas of the city, ie the west side and north of the river get screwed. The council members representing these areas have been bullied by Jermaine Reed(MBA), Lucas and James for many years. Now Bunch is walking away from those who voted for him to represent their interests.

  15. In a gang of really experienced and unfortunately capable council clowns, this guy's shoes are surely the biggest of all.
    Where's the bow tie?
How can so many clowns fit into such a little obscure mid-west town's car?
    And all at public expense.
