Coronavirus Killing Kansas City Restaurants

Here's another glimpse at the ongoing devastation of local small biz and a sign that the economic impact of the plague is very real whilst pundits and amateur Internets doctors debate the epidemiological implications. Checkit:

Independent Restaurants In Kansas City Are Closing Because Of The Coronavirus Pandemic

The list of restaurants closing will get longer as patio dining becomes less of an option in the fall and winter, predicts restaurant critic Liz Cook.

  1. All this so the deep state can blame Trump for trashing the economy. Shows that these guys, and Droopy Dopey Joe, don't give a rats ass about anyone but themselves.

  2. The local politicians are killing the restaurants, not the virus.

  3. I just looked at the Missouri dashboard today. There has been one death in the last week in the entire state of Missouri. As time goes on they may feel some in on these days without any deaths but it seems like the disease has run its course. How about we open things up for real?

  11. No, the restaurants in KC aren't closing because of the virus they are closing because of Lucas. Lets put the blame where the blame is due.

  12. They can't make a buck and meet overhead if they are allowed to only fill part of the seats. It's basic goddam math so I do understand Q Ball's lack of understanding. The only thing he can add is the Benjamins going in his pocket. Fuck everybody else!

Just wait until he finds out that other businesses will be relocating. No need for high rent and high taxes if people can work from home. Q Ball, you did it to yourself. Ain't nobody else to blame boy!

  13. N o problem. KC will just keep raising sales and e-tax until they have driven every productive soul out of the city. Then we can plow the city under and turn it back into farmland.

  14. In other cities. They expand seating areas into the streets to accommodate business. They do it safely but value their small businesses and have the smarts to figure out how to do this safely. Not rocket science.

  15. ^^^^ Someone who did not read the article. Outdoor dining does not work when the weather is uncomfortably cold.

  16. Streets are for traffic not "fart murals" or dining tables. The problem is good ol' shutdown, micromanaging, Q Ball. People are tired of trying to operate a business in the bedwetting climate and losing money doing it. You did it to yourselves Kansas Shitty. Many more will follow. Get used to it. The new normal. 😏
