‘It’s a racist thing to do’: KC residents upset after new Black Lives Matter mural vandalized
"A Kansas City, Missouri, Police department spokesperson said the tracks on a public roadway are considered “general wear and tear on a street and that the department would not be investigating." The spokesperson directed any additional questions to the city.
"Police also said that the city owns the street, but "was not able to establish a 'value' for the paint on the street ahead of time before the murals were painted."
Accordingly . . .
KANSAS CITY BLM MURAL BURNOUT CONSPIRACY OR MAYBE ARTISTS MIGHT EXPECT LOCALS TO DRIVE ON STREETS?!?
Either way, more people driving on streets should be expected as activists might or might not have forgotten to declare these not-so-safe spaces in the middle-of-the-road as sacred ground.
