All White Republican Recall Effort Against Mayor Quinton Lucas Imagines Kansas City Right-Wing Political Renaissance

Whilst there is a hottie tan broad talking up a storm . . . This is a predominately white "movement" espousing a great deal of pro-Trump talking points.

Their social media adventures are impressive and have earned a great many accolades but voting history suggests KC elections remain strongly dominated by the Democratic Party and union special interests.

As they attempt to recruit council and down ballot candidates online . . . Here's a glimpse at their efforts which hope activism against Black Lives Matter will drive more people to a low turnout Winter/Spring vote in order to remove the mayor.

    1. The volume of signatures severely damages the Mayor’s future-he’s finished politically. Strange.

  3. There's a lot of populist anger out there on both sides. As after reconstruction, any alliance between blacks and poor whites would topple the elitist ruling class. So far, the optics are against an alliance.

CNN and FOX are serving their corporate masters well insofar as populists on neither side recognize the ruse. Classic divide-and-conquer playbook moves dating back two centuries and just as effective.

  7. Maintaining streets and sidewalks, operating water departments, working to provide safe neighborhoods, establishing an even-handed and predictable tax system, and all the rest of the ACTUAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND OPERATIONS of a city government have NOTHING to do with partisan conservative v liberal politics.
How about electing some serious adults instead of self-promoting wannabees whose sole activities and goals are their won celebrity and political "careers".
    Try it.
KCMO might end up actually being a decent place to live, work in, and visit.

Yes, it may be "weird" that "the people" elected smiley selfies Lucas.
But what's really SAD, is that the voters in KCMO elect "politicos" who ignore the basic services that both residents and businesses depend on, waste money on nonsense like arts festivals and streetcars, throw tax money down the toilet on black holes like 18th and Vine, and subidize any "developer" with so much as a pulse time after time after time.
    Not weird.
    STUPID!

  31. The reason for the recall is not because Quinton is worthless or black or Democrat, its because the recall faction is anti-homosexual
