AFTERMATH: KANSAS CITY CHIEFS STAND UP FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE AS BOO BIRDS & CHOPPERS SPARK CONTROVERSY!!!
Outcry over social justice and not a mediocre
To wit . . .
FANS BOOING AND CHOPPING EARNED SOCIAL MEDIA REBUKE WHILST MSM FOCUSED ON ON PLAYER UNITY!!!
TOP ECHELON insight that's better than the rest . . .
The Chief's game just doesn't seem like a good time. The safety precautions, social justice protesting and endless hype have turned the whole thing into a drag. The best part of pro-football was always the fans, the party, tailgate cookouts and the vibe of Arrowhead overall . . . These element has been effectively silenced. What Kansas City is left with now are superstar multi-millionaire athletes who also want to inflict their agenda on smallish crowds. We can argue politics but there's no debating that the element of FUN has been almost completely eliminated from the game.
As promised, we'll share some of the best perspectives on the game starting with the Mayor . . .
Word of booing misdirection that's running rampant among Chiefs fans and totally not planted by the team's PR division . . .
“I’m a long time Chiefs season ticket holder and I want to clear up some lies about us fans who were in attendance at the game. I did not hear booing during the midfield demonstration. This is exactly what happened...The Texans came out of the tunnel onto their side of the field, fans booed. They quickly coincided with the demonstration with the chiefs but we fans had no idea what was happening. We just seen the Texans coming to the middle of the field, which I myself figured was for the coin toss, and there was booing. Once everyone realized what was happening, because everyone in attendance already knew a demonstration was going to happen, it got quiet . . ."
Damn, good quote from Dalton . . .
"Although I am vehemently opposed to political or social movements using sports as a platform to push agendas, it did not come across as heavy handed as I expected. It was however redundant to the point of fatigue. After everyone one chimed in from the network, commentators, teams, performers and commercials the totality of it all felt as if our unsolicited social reeducation training program began with this seasons opener. Entertainment and escapism must now share the field with reality and racism at the expense of paying fans.
"Equality is a valid message, narratives not so much."
Fanboy Perspective . . .
"Chiefs once again look to be the class of the NFL. Mahomes looked brilliant last night! Defense was superb. Chiefs on track for back-to-back Super Bowls!"
In defense of the 1st Amendment:
"Seems to me by the intense reactions (against booing) that free speech cannot be had by all and can only be permitted to go forth from one direction."
In defense of fans . . .
"I agree. No fans in this game are better than KC’s fans and we watched parts of the game and loved the booing. If full crowd was there it would have been beautiful. Those there, represented. Congrats! Think they got the message."
And now, just a few national links for confirmation and further perspective . . .
Kansas City Fans Earn International Coverage For Social Justice Push Back
Fans boo moment of silence to acknowledge inequality in NFL opener
The NFL season on Thursday night got off to a dismal start, and exposed the pernicious sentiments of many in America, when some fans jeered what the league described as "a moment of silence dedicated to the ongoing fight for equality in our country".
Playing Politics
Kansas City Chiefs Fans Make NFL Opener About Everything But Football
Congratulations Kansas City Chiefs fans, now no one is talking about Patrick Mahomes. I'm sure the NFL would want the focus today to be on the Super Bowl champs and their star QB but instead, after some in attendance seemingly booed a showing of unity, the talk is about everything but football.
Social Media Vs. KC
Twitter Lambastes KC Chiefs Fans that Booed Pregame Moment of Unity, Then Performed ‘Tomahawk Chop’
The NFL kicked off the 2020-21 season Thursday night as the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Houston Texans amid the ongoing pandemic and a national reckoning on racial injustice in which the NFL has played a central part.
You decide . . .
Here's what I don't understand Mr. Mayor.
ReplyDeleteAren't the Chiefs fans who booed good people too? Aren't they entitled to express their opinion. Do we have to agree with you to be a good person?
What a silly statement to make, I wish we had a better mayor.
^^^^
DeleteOUCH!
That a Knee Lickass needs to shut his BLM ass kissing mouth.
ReplyDeleteGreat PR for Kansas City, imho.
ReplyDeleteWe're on the map.
As to the controversies, well, they're part of the scene today.
And once again mayor mckneely puts his foot in his mouth before he has the facts, he’s so hell bent on kissing blm’s asses that he just threw a bunch of taxpaying citizens under the buss so he can look good to a Marxist organization and a bunch of over payed athletes with a stupid over played narrative.
ReplyDeleteThe boy blunder is the embarrassment in this city, not the fans or the citizens.
#recalllucasnow
the unity thing looked more confused than anything else on tv. it was hard to discern what was or was supposed to be going on.
ReplyDeleteChiefs sure looked dominant.
ReplyDeleteSuperbowl champs!
ReplyDeleteLast night reminded the world for sure.
Maybe lick ass should order six more blm murals and an additional dozen blm banners to hang on buildings.... what a minute, we don’t have 24 buildings downtown....
ReplyDeletethe announcers unctuous moralizing was off-putting, but then they were fine.
ReplyDeletewell, we muted until action started.
ReplyDeleteMayor McDrinkerson! Did you get a selfie? I ask because that is your single area of expertise.
ReplyDeleteWill the boo-ing continue for future BLM "unity" productions?
ReplyDeleteHow can Tony not include Jason Whitlock’s hot take on the latest KC Chiefs controversy?
ReplyDeletehttps://www.outkick.com/chiefs-fans-smart-to-boo-texans-and-dolphins-smart-to-disavow-empty-blm-gestures/
Seems amiss.
In about 3 weeks when the Chiefs are 4-0 all of this initial hoopla will be past and all the talk will switch back to the field where it belongs. Go Chiefs.
ReplyDeletekansas city is only a microcosm of the nation.
ReplyDeleteThe african IQ is too low to understand that they are being used as tools to bring forth a communist takeover of the US. Once the communists are done empowering and using them, they are going to shoot them all, NOT give them power and handouts as promised. Because that is what the communist manifesto dictates.
ReplyDeleteIf blacks want to improve their lot, they need to be able to recognize that the IQ issue is a big problem and so is their impulsivity and lack of family structure. The men act more like animals than real husbands and fathers.
Their problems stem from their inability to innovate and civilize. They have had nothing but handouts from whites and still cannot get it together. The white working class in this country has been decimated trying to support fatherless black kids and the bloated big government we get saddled with when the low IQ vote leftist because they *think* they are going to get a handout.
ReplyDeleteThe Chiefs fans were not booing unity.
They were booing the NFL Players support for murderers and rapists against our brace police men and women.
Chiefs fans support the KCPD not the criminals.
KCPD should be proud of the Chiefs fans support.
My perception as well. Chiefs get to display their thoughts, as offensive as they are, CUSTOMERS, get to display theirs. Booing not against unity it was about the cram down of BLM we were subjected to.
DeleteCheck out BLMs effect on Las Vegas. See this on the nightly news ?

It appears there's at least one city council in America that's a lot smarter than the one in Kansas City ...
ReplyDeleteThe Phoenix City Council has denied a request to install a "Black Lives Matter" street mural downtown.
"Based on existing regulations governing allowable markings in the street, as well as overriding concerns with safety, risks and federal guidelines for markings on streets, the City of Phoenix cannot accommodate your request," read a letter signed by city manager Ed Zuercher to the mural planner. "...installation of a mural, or any other non-standard markings, on a city street...is not currently allowed."
Also, the Black Phoenix Organizing Collective spoke out against the mural, calling it an "empty gesture."
ReplyDeleteJoe Biden cannot draw a crowd to his rallies because he smells like old man shit.
ReplyDeleteHasn't changed his Depends since March when he hibernated in his basement.
Basement Joe would like to call it his man cave but that would be sexist to Marxist sensitivities.
11:36 that’s a great article that mayor mckneely needs to read first thing every morning, matter of fact, how about they make murals and banners out of that article, it truly could help this country in so many ways!
ReplyDeleteBig sexy for mayor!
So the little Chiefy-weefies got their fee-fees hurt.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame.
So Kansas City fans have pissed off sports journalists, the twitter mob and leftist academics. Good for us! More to come!
ReplyDeleteI was proud of the fans. None better in the NFL. They make the atmosphere fun.
DeleteBLM and Antifa have done this to the black population :
ReplyDeleteDiagnostic Criteria:
Pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:
(1) has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
(2) is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
(3) believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
(4) requires excessive admiration
(5) has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
(6) is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
(7) lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
(8) is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
(9) shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes
Just sayin'.
That's our epidemic right there: Cluster B personality disorders.
What we have here is not systematic racism by police but systematic arrest avoidance by thugs.
ReplyDeletePANTS UP! DON'T LOOT!

ReplyDeleteQuinton Lucas is a dumb son of a bitch. What the message he is trying to send is.. hatred for cops that's where it all started and he knows it. The white people who support the movement are ignorant to what BLM is and what it stands for. The movement was started by two black panther women and the MILLIONS of dollars that go through that hate group is not going to help black people. Wake up to what these people are all about. So Quinton Lucas keep your big mouth shut about respect and rights. You DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO HATE THIS COUNTRY. This is why I will call black people for what they are DIRTY NIGGERS. Rejoice today that people like George Floyd is DEAD! Don't support Niggers lets work on moving them out of our country.
The fans weren't booing the show of unity. The fans were booing because they just want to watch football, not the politicalization of football.
ReplyDeleteWatching football brought people together in KC, not the politics of it. I'm glad it's getting colder out. Less shooters out and about. The crime in this city is insane.
ReplyDeleteKeep fooling yourself libs. People simply want to watch football with no politics. Pretty simple. Eventually the NFL will figure that out when sponsors start to drop off.
ReplyDeletewhatever.
ReplyDeleteit was actually a good game.
if Hiden gets elected, Lucas will become deputy under-supernumerary in DC.
ReplyDeleteyou're wrong. he's a law professor like Obama.
ReplyDeletehe can be president in the unfolding people's republic coming.
12:49 correction, he’s an interim teacher at ku, just like his mayor job in kc, temporary
ReplyDelete^^^ big ouch!
ReplyDeleteHiden 2020!
ReplyDeleteif Lucas goes to DC, will Kander run?
ReplyDeleteNoted from news this morning: Okafor got the BLM curse, injured his hammy. Others playas take notice!
ReplyDeleteany predictions about fan pushback on players moralizing at the next game?
ReplyDeleterecorded game on dvr. might watch it again. so much fun.
ReplyDeletealso, that one beautiful play, either right before quarter end or the half, didn't get the replays it deserved because of commercials.
ReplyDeleteQuinton Lucas and the black population thinks putting people out of business, rioting in the streets, and hating on the country is fighting for racial equality. Quinton Lucas and the black population thinks blaming all white people is fighting for racial equality.
These people are full of hate and that is what this is all about. It has nothing to do with racial equality. Quinton Lucas belongs to the black panthers and so do the chiefs and then with their double standards they bash the KKK. So funny.
I stand with the Klan
who won?
ReplyDeletewhy can't ppl protest a protest?
First comment sums it up nicely.
Lucas owes this city an polygyny for his race baiting accusations, putting a Marxist terrorist group blm ahead of the taxpayers and failures as a human being. He won’t survive this latest hiden joe biden gaffe.
ReplyDelete#recalllucas
^^^ apology, stupid spell check
ReplyDeleteThere was a Chief's game last night? Didn't intend to watch over paid babies play and I didn't and won't. Got rid of my team crap a few weeks ago in a drop box.
ReplyDelete^^Then why are you here? Who cares? Ratings for the game blew it out. Everybody watched. You included. Now fuck off.
ReplyDelete^^^^^How about you STFU
ReplyDelete^^^ The only thing that "blew it out" was your mom going down on the Texans the night before the game.
ReplyDeleteafter his little speech chastising us, I will definitely sign that recall effort!!! He is a worthless mayor and panders to the mob before he even knows what the issue is about
ReplyDelete2:58 you're so very wrong.
ReplyDeleteIn early numbers, the primetime NBC game scored a 5.2 among adults 18-49 and 16.4 million viewers between 8-11 p.m. ET.
Now, those numbers for the 8:25-11:30 p.m. ET game will certainly be adjusted upward later, but right now they mark a 16.1% drop over the spectacle of the September 5, 2019 season opener in the advertiser-rich demographic.
It’s obviously not the start the NFL was looking for as two of the league’s most recognizable players – Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson – failed to match last year’s ratings.
There will be those who celebrate the ratings dip, but we’ll need the context of the full season to pass judgement on the ratings.
This game if football was so important and on a Thursday night no less should have been almost Super Bowl high in ratings since no other football has been taking place. Instead it appears to have been a semi snoozer as people didn't really tune in.
Nothing makes my day anymore than seeing Dave knock some asshole the fuck out.
ReplyDeleteFormer FBI Director Mueller and his staff wiped clean their cell phones before handing them in due to a subpoena. Obstruction of Justice.
ReplyDeleteThe noose is tightening on Biden, Hillary and Obama regarding the illegal wire tapping of President Trump, fake Russian dossier etc.
and yet stupid dave those ratings were down only 2 million people from last year, and there was a playoff game featuring Lebron James, baseball, and the Stanley cup playoffs going all at the same time unlike last year. Tell all the story or shut up! Narrative destroyed!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to make a Orange mural.AREN'T YOUR GLAD YOU ARE NOT IN NEW YORK CITY. ENJOY THE SHOW. ..
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteLook at Patrick Mahomes he looks like a little girl with her hair up. Hey Mahomes do us a favor and leave our city and our state, you're not wanted or welcome here.
Remember a good thing today and that is the criminal George Floyd is gone he cant' hurt anyone again.
"We're a good city of good people. I heard boos too. But we also have hundreds of thousands more around here who respect the message the players are sharing; who respect the rights of our players and people to voice a strong message and who are working to make us better every day"
ReplyDeleteMayor Quinton Lucas
Players are sharing messages? Fuck that. Fans want to see football
Fuck your messages, Quinton
Boycott all this BS and you will see a change in direction. I was a fan of sports, but those that piggy backed off the sheep mentality and supported BS... I'm done! No $2K tickets for me. I'm out... Good luck!
ReplyDeleteSuper Dave is right on. I agree with earlier comment on the noose getting tighter as well. Durham report could come out before the election and its going to be damning for the cheating Dems.
ReplyDeleteOkay nation, tie off your pants at the ankles so you don't lose your shit over the Chiefs fans booing.
ReplyDeleteExpression of Free Speech goes both ways.
Get it through your low IQ childish heads that booing, which is only CRITICISM in no way equates to RACISM or denial of core human rights and values.
FANS SHOULD BOO EVERYTIME THEY ARE HELD HOSTAGE TO VIRTUE SIGNALING AND BULL SHIT. Booing is so miniscule of an act of protest compared to the rioting, looting, burning and violence perpetrated by the people supported and glorified by the players. This is what the fans are critical of.
Reactions to booing of: Offense, Outrage. Outcry and Backlash is just feet stomping by children mad about being called out for overreaching their importance as entertainers.
I boo for all the sheep mentality BS. I'll never spend my money on it again. When will they learn what they're paid for? Play a game and entertain then make millions of dollars doing so. Admit a personal sacrifice vs injuries, but that's what you signed up for to make that coin. If not, someone else will be right there to take your place.
ReplyDeleteWhen they try to take a stand in social justice it just points out how dumb all this is anyway.
Headline, "Chiefs fans overshadowed display of player unity by stomping kittens in the aisles while booing hysterically."
ReplyDeleteMayor says bad look for Kansas City, fur everywhere!
Pretty f--king simple. PLAY FOOTBALL ONLY. No two anthem crap no racist bs on helmets and field. You don't holds hands with the opposing team. Easy ain't it ya dumb a holes.
ReplyDelete5-figure redneck fans offering advice to rich seven-figure sports celebs.
ReplyDeleteLike anyone's gonna listen. Now ante up for tickets and quit yer moaning.
Go Chief$!
SJWs and media sure are quick to demonize the fans when they push back. Again they they themselves apply false motives to the fans intentions without any investigative research. All the while omitting the tanker truck load of KoolAid offered up to the captive fans last evening. Apparently you can't force rfeed Chiefs fans KoolAid AKA Bull Shit.
ReplyDeletefreedom of speech for fans!
ReplyDeletewhy foes the NFL want to curb freedom of speech?
Hey all of you MAGA folks. You can be upset all you want but you are 100% on the other side of the Chiefs and the NFL. Basically the NFL is leading the equality movement in America. They are saying to you, shut up or we will ban you from the games.
ReplyDeleteLike saying we’re going to shoot all of our customers then whine when the ones who are left can’t afford a ticket to go to the game.
Delete5:51 Goats vs Sheep!
ReplyDeleteand yet Chiefs and NFL are on the wrong of a none issue. Weird.
ReplyDeleteHey 11:10, did you know that there is certain speech in European countries is outlawed? Germany for instance has outlawed all Nazi and related right wing speech. What do you think of that???
ReplyDelete3:38 you whinny bitch, Super Dave is spot on.
ReplyDeleteLucas apologize yet??? Didn’t think so the commie blm loving bastard.
ReplyDeleteThe pregame content was over the top shoving BLM down our throats. People are fed up with the protests. Remember a few years ago when 5 Dallas police officers were ambushed and murdered, the Dallas Cowboys wanted to honor them with a decal on their helmet and the NFL said no. Now they're honoring these thugs that refused to comply with an officers command.
ReplyDeleteDo your research. Black Professors State that B.L.M.IS BECOMING A CULT. AMERICANS ARE BEING PLAYED. AND 80 PERCENT of Americans don't give a hoot about B.L.M. POLLS SAY. ARE ENJOYING THE SHOW.
ReplyDelete@5:51. Let's see Red Neck fans boo in protest for 15 seconds.
ReplyDeleteChiefs and NFL protest in a 3 hour infomercial.
AND
SJW, BLM supporters violently protest for months.
(This is who the Chiefs & NFL are in support of to be on the right side?)
Chiefs fans get more bad press for 15 seconds of booing than do rioters that Burn Loot Murder for months.
Equality?
There will probably be an investigation into the booing fans to see if it qualifies as a hate crime.
ReplyDeleteBans anticipated.
Can fans fly the thin blue line flag at games? Asking for about 320,000,000 million patriotic Americans
ReplyDeleteOn 9/11 2001 There was real bad guys, and real heroes.... now we have fake bad guys (cops) and fake heroes ( black millionaires that play sports ) we have a pandemic. The pandemic should be the only thing discussed. People were booing because Black persecution is fake news and on top of that vadalisn our streets and is watching blacks kill each other daily... Fuck The Libs and The Blacks, and Fuck the Person the Thai restaurant who made my dinner too spicy .!!
ReplyDeleteUnity.. like when one segment of our population commits the majority of murders and violent crimes, yet we create a Social movement driven by LGBT to cause divide. Why is that we never address the problem with African American murders. Instead we make them the victim . Usually of a practice that ended over 150 years ago and was not by anyone alive nor to anyone alive. Because if not, we would have to beat the LGBT drum 24 /7.
ReplyDeleteto clark hunt i do believe now is the time to do away with the chop it is very racism against american indian you got a good start by bandishing the costumes and war paint dont stop now
ReplyDeleteAll good reasons why the ticket speculators took a "bath" on this game.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Clark, tell your customers what they can cheer, ban them for booing, tell them what they can wear. On your way out of Arrowhead, turn out the lights. Wait, blow me, then turn out the lights.
ReplyDelete
