Committee of Petitioner's momentous complaint (against City) has been officially filed in federal court and a judge assigned.
Today, the US District Court in Kansas City filed the Committee of Petitioner's 1st Amendment Civil Rights malfeasance complaint against Mayor Lucas and the City Council for the City's deliberate, illegal, arrogant and unconstitutional action in refusing to place the Committee's validated petition initiative on the ballot (Case No. 20-cv-694). This landmark federal case has been assigned to U.S. District Court Judge Roseann Ketchmark. Via an emergency Writ of Mandamus, the Committee respectively requests the court order the City to place its valid petition initiative on the upcoming November ballot. This ruling will lend clarification as to whether Kansas City has a meaningless or meaningful petition process.
The City has a shameful history of subverting, from the ballot, politically contentious petitions it disfavors. In this case, our inferior gatekeepers of democracy decided behind closed doors the merits of this petition. No one can doubt, they are afraid to let citywide voters decide its merits. The petition challenges the City's inept planning in that it seeks to ask citywide voters if they support replacing streetcars and diesel buses with a new rapid, state-of-the-art and all-electric citywide public transportation system.
Mayor Lucas and the City Council play favorites and pander to special interest groups like BLM, while rejecting the legitimate interests and civil rights of Kansas City voters. They should all be recalled for violating the public trust.
The City has committed this act of malfeasance against the Committee and direct democracy because they don't think the media cares about it, they don't think anyone knows about it and they don't think the Committee can do anything about it. "We will see what happens."

Jewish "faith" is not an accurate term. They didnt believe in God when they were delivered out of egypt and they built a golden calf to worship. They make their own God. They dont believe in the real God. I see none of them looking up to the skies for signs of the messiah's return. That would interupt their busy social lives. God choose them to be the mouthpiece for the world and they refused to carry out their half of the covenant. Now gentiles are doing the work they were supposed to - reaching out to the whole world.
ReplyDeleteJewish people believe "God helps those that help themselves". Thats not biblical. Jewish faith is a social club, not a worship of God. They are hoping the Messiah doesnt return as it would upset their investments, the growth of Israel, and their holidays. They have no time for the REAL GOD.
