TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! POSTAL PROBLEMS PLAGUED KANSAS CITY PRIMARY AS SNAIL MAIL VOTING CRISIS WORSENS!!!
We've heard from more than a few TKC readers who were forced to emerge from their bunkers and vote after mail-in ballots for the primary never arrived. Sadly, this typical snail mail trouble raises more doubts about the big vote in November.
To wit . . .
MANY TKC READERS EXPERIENCED PRIMARY MAIL-IN VOTING TROUBLE AS LOCAL ELECTION BOARDS BLAMED THE POST OFFICE FOR PROCESSING DELAYS!!!
In the past week we've heard complaints from our blog community but here's the most relevant remark . . .
"So we're trusting the KC election board and the post office with the future of our Democracy? That's scary. I never got my mail-in ballot and when I called about it, I was answered with a very rude person who curtly told me to call my post office and said it was their problem not hers. There was no help, nothing I could do . . . They just cancelled my vote and didn't do anything to make sure it wouldn't happen again. I was forced to go vote in person and luckily it wasn't crowded. I'm afraid I'm going to face a repeat of this debacle in the general election but it will be too crowded to risk it this time. I hope they get their act together before November but I have my doubts."
And all of this is confirmed by news from the national scene which offers a glimpse at the impending snail mail snafu that threatens to determine the fate of the upcoming election.
