Forbes: Medicaid Expansion Wins In Red State Missouri
We'll be surprised if the Missouri GOP majority doesn't gut this measure in much the same way that they soiled "clean Missouri" ethics reform.
But for now, this is certainly a sign of the times and a signal that even one of the most conservative states in the USA wants a greater portion of freebie healthcare.

granny deserves to die with a little dignity. That's why this vote won.
ReplyDeleteFree is never free. True Dat
ReplyDeleteSMH. Missouri wants conservative leaders running the state, yet also wants expanded Medicaid, medical marijuana and minimum wage increases. Maybe we should just elect people who are in favor of these progressive measures?
ReplyDeleteMissouri Starts With Killa City to the west with a huge Murder problem and ends to the east with St Louie shithole killer town. What can you expect for their wants ? Love driving thru the Blight of St Lou. Reminds you of a war torn country. Seems they have a lot to address prior to moving on to others.
ReplyDelete@12:22. Good call.
ReplyDeleteDon't count the Republicans in Jefferson City out yet!
ReplyDeleteThey have a pretty good record of thwarting the will of the Voting Public and preventing anything of benefit to the Citizens of Missouri.
We'll have to see what their owners want them to do about this.
We are going to bankrupt the state and country paying for those who make poor life choices. I feel for those who have horrible conditions and would gladly help, but the system is greatly abused by lazy and entitled locusts
ReplyDelete^^and yet that's a myth and and the system is really abused by old white people addicted to opioids, but don't let the facts get in the way of your narrative. I mean you would like to help, but not THOSE people. By the way..What would Jesus do?
ReplyDeleteMedicaid expansion has nothing to do with granny or grandpa. They were already covered.
