Until very recently, Missouri wasn't a reliably Red State . . . In fact, the Democratic Party was always competitive until a right wing surge in the 90s . . . Now, a major progressive win AND widely supported Healthcare reform seem to signify gains for progressives leading up to 2020.

After growing increasingly conservative in recent years, Missouri-a longtime presidential bellwether-this week voted to embrace Obamacare and crown what's likely to be the newest member of the liberal-leaning "Squad" in Congress.
Barely on the free stuff vote, and in a who cares "dark" blue district. The more minority women you get together in one "squad" the sooner the hair pulling starts.
