Galloway: "We need a reset on our coronavirus strategy"

(Missourinet)- State Auditor Nicole Galloway has spent the week touring Missouri as part of her bid for governor. She has visited Hannibal, Cape Girardeau, Joplin, and Sedalia. Galloway is the Democratic nominee and faces Republican Governor Mike Parson in November's General Election. Much of Galloway's focus during her visits has been critical of Parson's approach [...]

  4. Yet another phony lying Democrat.

  5. Galloway is unbelievably naïve about the corruption that goes on in local government. Corrupt Nixon appointed her and she is already tainted by her co-operation with the Clay County crooked developer coffee maker audit scam.

  6. Some astute TKC comments about Galloway and the Clay audit:

    I fully support this audit.
However, I am disturbed by the motivations of those driving the audit and Galloway's behavior. Most auditors quietly go about their work and in the end release an audit report. This auditor, Galloway, started off by grandstanding in press releases and interviews. She has made disparaging comments about the County, some commissioners, and staff. Nolte is using the audit in retribution against the other commissioners that he doesn't get a long with. The whole audit effort was deeply political at the start. It isn't about a group of citizens desiring a well run county. It is an effort to drive two people out of office and make Nolte and Withington prosper politically. Although the results of an audit may result in findings that reflect poorly on people, including office holders, and even criminal charges, this should not be the motivation. Galloway should have recognized this and insulated her office from it. Instead, she has behaved very unprofessionally and she now has no credibility.

I think Galloway should step back and hire a third party audit firm to complete a professional audit.

  7. This is really the way they want to play it? Promising more mask mandates and more lock downs when the population is so utterly sick of it.

  8. All of the Dems want 100-percent mail-in voting and sending to everyone on the voter rolls, even dead people and people who moved seven years ago. They want to make their own ballots and fill them out with the names of people in memory care units who know nothing about it and the pets of the Dems. They also want Basement Bunker Biden to be able to easily hide from tough reporters' questions in his underground lair that now smells like moth balls and Joe's crusty balls.

  9. Galloway is taking a shot at the easy target, Parsons. But the truth is that Galloway doesn't know any better than Parsons on how to respond to the pandemic. She just isn't in that position to make decisions in this matter at all and can take all the cheap shots she wants. However by election day we will all get tired of her assertions and say "What would you have done that would have been better?" and her response would be a deer in the headlights look.

  10. Agree with the comments that Galloway will get a backlash if she keeps playing this game with the virus. Promising people more oppression and not a solution is a bad way to go.

  11. The only fail here is the democrats are behind the virus and that's a fact, just like they were behind the fake Kavanaugh rape case and the fake impeach the President for nothing with no evidence case and lets not forget the busted wide open FBI on their treasonous e mails to sabotage an election.
So why doesn't this small time auditor get off her ass and give a breakdown of what she would do? Because she can't, and doesn't have a clue what to do, not to mention her statements are so stupid it's laughable. No matter who handled the virus or economy will take years to recover is she really that stupid to think people don't know that?

  13. Unfortunately, electing Galloway would mean more violent crime and murders since she would deeply cut police budgets.

  14. Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway, who is running for governor, is accused of potentially misusing Missourians’ taxpayer dollars to her advance her political career.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch editorial board criticized Galloway in February for using her taxpayer-funded staff to advance her political goals as she was conducting an audit for then-Attorney General and now-Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO). The Post-Dispatch noted that Steph Deidrick, Galloway’s press secretary, emailed an op-ed to the Post-Dispatch to attack Gov. Mike Paron’s decision to impose restrictions on administering abortions.

  15. As State Auditor; Galloway turned a blind eye to Democrat Party operatives corruption. She was all about politics instead of performing her job of ensuring taxpayer funds were managed and spent appropriately.

Very two-faced; she is another Quentin Lucas.
