Not sure if taking biz advice from a struggling, bankrupt legacy media company is the best idea . . . BUT, here's the dead-tree hot take on the airline industry which is now pretty much government owned . . . Read more:
Cerner, other big users of KCI say business travel will be forever curbed after COVID
For many workers, travel is just part of the job at Cerner Corp. The North Kansas City-based healthcare IT company constantly flies employees to sell products and services, install them and support them. At times, the launch of a new product could require hundreds of employees to head to the airport, expense meals and stay in hotels as they work with hospitals across the country.
ReplyDeleteGet over it, this was a designed virus and a political weapon, the cases are down. There will be flu viruses this winter too. Move on.
Fortunately most people aren't as wacko as you so we should just
DeleteCANCEL KCI
Albert Einstein once said, mans intelligence is limited but his stupidity is infinite.
ReplyDeleteThe above comment proves it.
This is terrible.
ReplyDeleteQuestions because of the huge huge deficit:
1. Why did leadership fail to see this and head it off?
2. What planning has been done to alleviate the huge big colossal spending gap?
3. After airlines pull out in 5 years or before by easily breaking contracts- how much of tax increases will KC citizens see?
4. Should the people who voted no on the airport have a parade and a laugh joke festival and if they do- which politicians and newspapers who urged everyone to vote yes should be headliners?
5. Will they raise airport food to prices like this to help out?:
Hersey bars-$35
Gum $15
Beer $75 for one
Using the toilet $10
Toilet Paper $3 per square
You see folks- politicians and bankrupt newspapers will point out the virus. And they are 100% right! It’s just their GPS is off. The virus is in their mirror.
And yet we will still have a partially built airport that we didn't need in the first place. Kansas City leaders have piss poor foresight and ignore the problems directly in front of them. It's become a tradition.
ReplyDelete^^You mean like you posting the same dull comments day after day?
ReplyDeleteAnyone who's worked in business knows that a lot of the past business travel was wasted money for the company and simply allowed execs and other employees to build up frequest flyer miles and get out of their own offices for a while. Some of it was necessary but a lot of it wasn't.
ReplyDelete^^^and yet most of it absolutely was. Weird.
ReplyDeleteWhat Cerner's really saying is that they hope to peddle themselves off to someone before they have to send service people out on the road again.
ReplyDeleteYES
ReplyDelete11:35 has only worked on unclogging his own toilet and never held a job in his life. Unweird
ReplyDeleteCerner is the most employee-unfriendly employer in the city. They're as cold and clinical as a North Korea basement torture chamber. Turnover must be out-of-sight there. They've had more leadership trouble since their founder died and seem to be floundering. Stronger competitors have been taking back market share.
ReplyDelete11:35 enjoys unclogging his own toilet with his bare hands, then he sniffs his fingers.
ReplyDeleteThat's how he gets his corn.
ReplyDelete^^crickets....crickets....crickets.
ReplyDelete^and yet most of it absolutely was. Weird.
