Busted pipes on Friday shut down City Hall in KCMO.
Sadly, weekend work didn't fix the problem.
And no, thanks to KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS we know . . .
CITY HALL IS SHUT DOWN AGAIN AS CONSTANTLY BUSTED WATER PIPES THREATEN KANSAS CITY PROGRESS!!!
Let's not forget that water probs also shut down the toy train streetcar this weekend without local media bothering to pick up the story . . .
Here's the word . . .
Safety Coordinators,
There is no water in the building today, 8/24, due to an on-going water main break. Instruct employees to leave the building until further notice. If employees need to get in to retrieve important documents and such they need to enter the building at the lower level.
Send this message to all staff on your floor.
Thanks . . .

Developing . . .
Kansas City literally crumbling under the Lucas tenure. Sad.
ReplyDeleteand yet it's not. Weird.
ReplyDelete^^^ And yet you haven't stepped outside your Johnson County McMansion in months to find out. Even weirder.
DeleteUm, no, Chimpy lives in the zoo!
DeletePretty much sums up DEMOCRAT PARTY controlled Kansas City these days.
ReplyDeleteMurders, looting, near bankruptcy and now City Hall is flooded.
Vote Democrat Party and you will have a total cluster-f*ck.
TRUMP 2020
ReplyDeleteRevenge of the Ghost of JC Nichols !
Lucas will be terrorized by JC Nichol's ghost for the rest of his life !
Q strikes again! How long can he dodge the blame for rusted pipes...

ReplyDeleteHuge PP tax increase, GO Bond, rising water prices, cut back on police, cut back on city street workers. Did you people ever question where your money is going? Have you even seen that GO Bond money at work other than just a few hit and miss sidewalk repairs? I have an idea why don't you just vote in another bond and put more money into Lucas' pocket along with big developers.
@9:57-Umm...no, he lives in your head rent-free. You're a fan!
ReplyDeleteMakes that partially built new KCI that we didn't need and that toy choo choo like pretty sill doesn't it?
ReplyDeletePretty picture! Is that The Dream Fountain?
ReplyDeleteBring in bottled water and port-a-potties. Lots of workers around town use them.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to know where Go Bond money is going, drive done 2300 block of Vine. That one block In front of
ReplyDeleteA vacant lot and abandoned building got a new sidewalk and curb while the other 10 blocks of
Concrete is crumbling.
Clever/Reed?James solution for Urban Murders, sewer issues, and Poor Streets? Pour money in the black holes of 18th and Vine, Jazz Museum and Linwood Grocery.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter if employees sleep at their desks or at home.
ReplyDeleteKC Progress? You sound stupid right now.
ReplyDelete^you sound stupid always so...
ReplyDelete10:06 offers a great question and analysis.
ReplyDeleteWhere is all the taxpayer money going?
State Auditor Galloway never did do a comprehensive audit and report of KCMO expenditures but rather is campaigning for political office.
Why is the State Auditor's office wasting time formulating a make-believe COVID-19 plan?
^^I don't know Maude, did you call her and ask?
ReplyDelete"KANSAS CITY PROGRESS!!!" (Excerpt from the headline)
ReplyDeleteHa, ha
^^and yet we see it daily. So weird.
ReplyDelete1:28, did you used to post under the handle of go4kc? Like you, he existed as a dingleberry on the city’s butt fur, making outlandish arguments against topics that were crystal clear to anyone not wearing blinders. I’m sure 12th and Oak would love to hire you as a full-time cheerleader, but they can’t even afford a skirt for you. Weird, but true.
ReplyDelete^^I don't live on here like you dummy. I don't know who posts what. Maybe you should find something else to do all day. You seem really dumb though so.....
ReplyDeleteTOP PHOTO -- CANNONBALL IN THE NARCISSIST'S POOL
ReplyDeleteTold he could make a splash at City Hall today, Mayor Quagmire rushed to the scene and dove in head first!!!
Yet there are always plenty of tax incentives available for developers
ReplyDeletePretty sure no one noticed there wasn't anyone working over there today.
ReplyDeleteWatch out! 2:46 really has her panties in a twist! She hovers around this site like a fly on a turd spouting her lame one-liners, day in and day out, but when the table is turned her pubes catch fire. If you see her, please help her to a safe space.
ReplyDeleteNo management has been working at city hall since the shutdown, the only people working there now is labor class and some supervisors.
ReplyDeleteAll the big dogs are home.
Busted water folks. City attorney Anthony Bush is so busted along with alleged partner in crime city attorney Douglas McMillan.
ReplyDeleteFolks figured out these two dudes allegedly working with scam workman compensation attorneys to scam accident and injured worker victims formerly employed by city of Kansas city out of tons of cash.
Allegedly blue cross and blue shield acts as 3rd party administrator for city of kcmo for workman compensation.
Alleged backroom deals and a billion dollar city budget and no accountability of money sent to blue cross allegedly allowed malfeasance to occur.
Lots of Folks coming together realized lump sums for thousands authorized by Anthony Bush and Douglas McMillan some authorized by city council for injured parties disappear allegedly after checks made out on commerce bank accounts controlled by city of Kansas city.
Allegedly account numbers opened and assigned to checks long enough to clear bank then accounts quickly closed. Two party checks allegedly never seen by victims and allegedly forged by attorneys in on alleged scheme. Lots of tax free cash for schemers.
And again tomorrow, but these idiots want to take over PD. #recallQ
