If You've Grown Numb To Kansas City's Coronavirus Numbers, Try Thinking Of Them This Way

Missouri has confirmed more than 57,000 cases of COVID-19, with more than 1300 deaths so far. In Kansas, those numbers are 30,000 and 365 respectively. To put that in perspective, the number of people who have died in the two states combined could just about fill the Uptown Theater.

  1. I like how that chart only goes through April 20th! Nice deceptive chart making a casual glance at it look like Corona is exploding exponentially right now.....

This sky is falling routine is wearing out, why are there no positive stories, progress on treatments, vaccines, real data on what we learned about the virus and how it really is spreading.....

Chicken little nonsense is going to end up really hurting us when the average person stops heeding the REAL treatments and safety protocols that will truly save lives because they have been misled and deceived for so long.....

It's really doing a number on minorities, ain't that fantastic?

  7. 1300 deaths in Missouri - 944 in the St. Louis area. For the math-impaired, that leaves 350 deaths for the rest of the state. St. Louis is to Missouri what New York City and the state of New Jersey are to this country - outliers of concentrated Wuhan Flu numbers.

Still worried? Let's look at the number of deaths due to Wuhan for the week 7/25 - 8/1 for the entire country by age group:

    15-24: 1
    25-34: 1
    35-44: 5
    45-54: 18
    55-64: 66
    65-74: 97
    75-84: 156

At the peak, for the week ending 4/11, there were 2,159 deaths in the 55-64 category. Now it's down to 66...For the country. By the way, according to the CDC, zero deaths below age 15 during this period (I know we had a recent infant death).

Let's get on with our lives.

  8. Go ahead, sheep...Keep watching CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC. They are claiming the sky is falling. Take five minutes, use non-biased source, and look at the numbers yourself. The CDC has these statistics, by age, by date, and by country. Yeah, 166K deaths nationwide looks awful, and is tragic, but in the last week, a few hundred, in a country of 330 million? Get back to work and get back to school. You are more likely to drown in a bathtub than die of the Chinese Wuhan virus that came from China.

  9. In Kansas City you are more likely to get shot by a homie.

  10. I love when people believe that death is the only thing to worry about. No offense, but I am really not interested in developing long-term side effects from catching this disease.

  11. 11:46 Wow. Brianna Keilar really has you spooked. You are mesmerized by her and want to motorboat those big ol' tittays, right? So you'll believe anything that talking hair hat says, right? Social distance just to avoid overwhelming the hospitals. Wear masks just so we can level out. Now both measures are permanent and the "new normal." The only long-term side effects of COVID-19 you are going to experience is your gullibility. Choose the red pill, bud. Watch some real news, not the kind that just wants Joe Biden elected.

  14. So, he may have lost six people that he knows in the time frame of this virus. But I and many people I know still don’t know anyone who has even had the disease. Even thought the numbers of official cases has been higher lately than earlier in the year, the death count is still less than it was in April and May. Stop trying to scare us. It works on the more simple minded of us and the results are devastating to society.

  15. ^^That's you dummy. You're one of the simple minded. Get your estate together, not much there, but none the less. Tick tock. Bye bye Boomer.
