Reality check and a continuation of the Biden mandate for the Democratic Party . . . The progressives have been pushed back in Kansas City, this was their best chance to make headway and it didn't happen . . .

Final vote tally:

Ingrid Burnett - 890 - 40%

Phyllis Hardwick - 778 - 35%

Wick Thomas - 542 - 25%

In Jackson County, 63,781 of 228,274 registered voters turned out across the county’s 136 precincts, a rate of 27.9%.

  1. That’s what happens when you move into a district for 2 weeks to run for office there. Should have learned a lesson from Manny two years ago.
