Mayor Lucas proposes creation of administrative court to handle parking tickets, ordinance violations
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Mayor Quinton Lucas is proposing an ordinance that would create an administrative court in Kansas City, Missouri. The proposal is co-sponsored by 6th District At Large Councilwoman Andrea Bough and will be presented at Thursday's city council meeting.
Agree you shouldn't go to jail for a parking ticket. But with no consequences at all, who's going to even show up for "court"; why even have parking regulations.
