COVID-19 death rate increasing in Kansas City, Mayor Quinton Lucas frustrated

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Mayor Quinton Lucas says he is frustrated with the increase in COVID-19 deaths and infections. However, he insists that, if everyone works together, we'll still get through this together. As coronavirus cases and deaths continue to climb across the country, public officials in Kansas City hope to soon see a downward trend.

  1. Wow qball, if only you would have put an immediate stop to all the rioting this wouldn’t have happened, what are we up to now 76 deaths per kcmo’s website.

Lucas this is your fault, nobody else’s, almost 6000 new Kung fu flu cases and 76 deaths..... you have blood on your hands.

    1. Q did stop the police from rioting after only a few days of police riots. And that was two months ago. You just hate police.

  3. stringent regulations? masks? not in Kansas City MO

Regardless, the masses are out on the road traveling; traveling with the virus to unknown destinations. Stay home, literally.

Idiot co-worker traveled to Mt. Rushmore to go "camping". Idiot co-worker risking the health and well being of others.

  4. 6:46 that’s 76 deaths since last Friday, did you know we had 27 deaths the week after the riots started? That’s 49 new deaths, almost double what we had from the first week of March to the first week of June.

It’s amazing what failed leadership and uncontrolled rioting will get you isn't it.

  5. 7:05 camping is a being out in the woods with just you or your family members, he wasn’t staying at a hotel for crying out loud. Your point is stupid.

  6. Clueless Lucas is like a three year-old child found wandering around the streets at three o'clock in the morning.
    Someone call 911!
    Sad.

  7. Perhaps masks and social distancing should have been enforced at the "mostly peaceful protests" that you not only encouraged but participated in Q Ball?

    ReplyDelete
  8. There are still many people who are too stupid to wear masks and social distance. I was in the Brookside/Plaza area last week and only two people were wearing masks.

  9. The are just following blm's example. They just aren't destroying property or assaulting police.

  10. 64 covid deaths. 116 murders. Which is the real problem??????????

  11. You whities is the prob!

  12. Maybe Lucas and his merry band of protesters should wear masks and quit spreading corona virus from Kansas City to the Ozarks.

Lucas is either on drugs or schizo or both.

  13. If Lucas tried to throw himself on the ground he'd miss. Total fuckup.

  14. Are you serious? Quinton Lucas says if everyone will work together? What a hypocritical piece of crap. He's the one who is completely working against people he's a woke radical and only see's things the same way the other radicals do. What kind of a frightened little wack job kneels to thugs while they are destroying the city? He's stupid racist and down right crazy. He's the great divider.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Q Ball's idea of working together is doing as he says not as he does. Typical liberal hypocrite.

  16. 76 deaths this year from Covid. 6 murders this weekend. And the 29th floor is "frustrated" by COVID rate? It's clowntown 2020.

Maybe we should be a mask around the east side. Or just a fricking fence.

  17. A tactical nuclear strike would be much more effective.

  18. The bars in Westport were packed this weekend right up to 2:30am. After the bars closed hundreds gathered in the streets to hang out in close proximity. Why is this being allowed mayor?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Thank you Gladys Kravitz

    ReplyDelete
  20. Were you at Westport in the “packed” bars this weekend, 9:37? Either you don’t really know about the claims you are making or you were behaving irresponsibly yourself. Which is it?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Shut the City down. If not you no better than trump. And science means nothing,

    ReplyDelete
  22. What could have happened to increase the number of deaths from Chinese Flu so suddenly?

Hey dumbasses...maybe its that Quinton promoted and encouraged the riots and protests a couple weeks ago. All the results are from events about 2 weeks ago right?

Get a clue. I would be 90%+ of the people that have COVID are or are in close contact with some woke protestor/rioter

    ReplyDelete
  23. The rioters did it. They have blood on their hands, as do the people who enabled them>

    RESISTANCE NOW!

  24. Mayor McDrinkerson is frustrated? Oh no! I'm sure everyone is shaking.

It's too bad that the champion selfie taker couldn't lead a kindergarten field trip, let alone a large city in the midst of at least two major crises.

1300 deaths in Missouri - 944 in the St. Louis area. For the math-impaired, that leaves 350 deaths for the rest of the state. St. Louis is to Missouri what New York City and the state of New Jersey are to this country - outliers of concentrated Wuhan Flu numbers.

Still worried? Let's look at the number of deaths due to Wuhan for the week 7/25 - 8/1 for the entire country by age group:

    15-24: 1
    25-34: 1
    35-44: 5
    45-54: 18
    55-64: 66
    65-74: 97
    75-84: 156

At the peak, for the week ending 4/11, there were 2,159 deaths in the 55-64 category. Now it's down to 66...For the country. By the way, according to the CDC, zero deaths below age 15 during this period (I know we had a recent infant death).

Let's get on with our lives.

  26. ^^and yet not one thing you posted is true. You're not a scientist, epidemiologist, or a high school graduate. Everything you know about COVID was told to you by sources purposefully distorting the facts. They need useful idiots like you to take the bait and spread it like idiots do. Sorry chump, we're not buying anything you have to say. You're here, you lost!

1300 deaths in Missouri is not a lie. Three counties in Missouri were responsible for 950 of the 1300 deaths. How is that a lie?

Deaths in Missouri due to the Wuhan Flu from this source: <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/us/missouri-coronavirus-cases.html#county" target="_blank>Reported cases and deaths by county</a> (The NY Times is the de facto liberal source for all information, so you should have no objection to using this as a source, but feel free to use your own)

    St. Louis County: 667
    St. Louis: 174
    St. Charles County: 103
    Jackson County: 64

1386 deaths in Missouri, of which 944 are in St. Louis.

Jackson County has had more murders this year than Covid-19 deaths.

In the last seven days, Jackson county has had more murders than Covid-19 deaths.

  40. The person who claimed he/she saw only 2 people wearing masks in Brookside/Plaza is lying. Masks are required in every store on the Plaza and Brookside and this rule is being enforced. If you're complaining people walking down the street without a mask you need to read the CDC guidance on wearing face coverings. It does not suggest or require that masks be worn outdoor if social distancing can be maintained, and it doesn't suggest wearing a mask if you infrequently for short periods of time encounter people less than 6 feet.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Bandit, the science has proved the riots have raised the covid numbers bigly.

The day of the riots we had 1087 cases and that number goes back to early March to May 28th. We had 27 deaths on May 28th as well.

Today we have 6648 for an increase of 5561 new cases and 76 deaths according to kcmo’s own website. The death increase is 49 since then.

You are 100% correct in your statement, facts elude stupid people.

    ReplyDelete
  42. There's a big delay between each person spreading COVID to the next person, up to 14 days. It's like dominoes slowly falling. That's why it's so hard to contain. Much of what we're seeing with the uptick in cases started with the protests many weeks ago, and with all the partying and "hanging out" the 16 to 30 year old crowd has been and continues to be doing without masks or social distancing. Drive by a skate park if you want to see just one example of many, many examples.
