The Baseball Hall of Fame Committed an Unforgivable Snub - Sportscasting | Pure Sports

The question of late regarding the Baseball Hall of Fame has been how long Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens will have to wait for induction in Cooperstown. Both players left the majors after the 2007 season, each with their worthiness called into question, a year after the door was slammed shut on Buck O'Neil in an unforgivable snub.

Comments

  1. Buck O'Neil did not have anywhere near the stats to get voted into the baseball HOF. There are others who are in but did not deserve that honor. No reason to make the same mistake with Buck.

  2. I’m sure it’s because he’s black. Just like every black actor that doesn’t win an Oscar is snubbed. And every black musician that doesn’t win a Grammy is snubbed. Et al.
