Fact Check: New KCI Niceties WASTED Amid Aftermath Of Coronavirus

This link tease offers a peek at FANCY NEW SHOPPING MALL AIRPORTS LIKE THE ONE KANSAS CITY IS BUILDING are now out of favor. More on this later but take a peek at this tidbit for now:

As Amenities Sit Unused, Airports Reconsider Their Design

Airports have some of the most lucrative square footage in the world, but the pandemic has crushed that calculus. It's difficult to tell whether Singapore Changi Airport is an entertainment complex or an airport. Changi features a three-screen movie theater, an indoor butterfly garden, a rooftop pool and inventive eateries that attract as many locals as travelers.

  1. I guess this means no $8 cups of coffee, no Fountain with "Digital Water", no pictures of buildings that use to exist and of dead African Americans at KCI, right?

    1. Even better, if "conservatives" can muster 1/10 the outrage they summon for black-benefiting boondogles, maybe it can mean no totally unnecessary new airport at all.

  3. Maybe they will eventually admit that we did not need this money pit in the first place. I seriously doubt it though. This project has been a joke from day one. Suckered again Kansas Shitty! Nice toy choo choo though!

  5. As a frequent business traveler, I enjoyed flying in and out of MCI. Pre-9/11, I could leave my house in the Nashua area, park in underground parking, and be on a prop-job flight to fly anywhere in the Midwest within 30 minutes. Post 9/11, it's bad, but not nearly as bad as centralized security, train hubs, and endless moving walkways found in most other airports. Even now I can typically park near my gate and be in the terminal near my gate in just a few minutes. Try that in Minneapolis or Chicago. Never underestimate the ability of Kansas City to really mess something up, and the airport, like the Jazz District, is a shining example.

  8. @3:52, since only 250,000,000 people voted in the 2016 Presidential Election, I guess, using your logic, Trump won with 120% of the Popular vote rather than losing the Popular Vote by 3,000,000!

    120% of the Vote!
    Imagine that!
Sounds like the vote totals from some Banana Republic match,
or from a completely fraudulent Election like the GOP is trying to achieve this November, doesn't it?

  9. That was Boris and Natasha. They vote.

  10. Those numbers must have come from the PolySci Faculty at
WhatsamattaU, located at the foot of Wynchataka Peak, on the shore of Veronica Lake, right Bandito?

Just like "The Donald's" Campaign promises came from an episode of "Fractured Fairytails"!
