Tradition: Kansas City Flooding After Rain

Typical storm sewer clogging plagued KCMO streets along with just a few power outages this morning following a not-so-significant rain. Here's the roundup:

Heavy rain, thunderstorms move through Kansas City area

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Morning thunderstorms provided plenty of rain to the Kansas City area Wednesday. The rain began around 4 a.m. and storms were expected to last until the afternoon. As the rain picked up around the area, the National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning for much of Clay and Platte counties in Missouri.
