  1. sorry, but it's starting to look like the gears have been stripped on the entertainment snd travel segments of the economy.

a certain percentage of people are not flying again until further notice.

another group aren't going to a restaurant until there's a vaccine.

sports and cultural events are on hold.

add it all up and that's a lot NOT going on.

  2. I will never go back to the Plaza. Its finished as far as we are concerned.

  3. This really might be the beginning of an economic depression, imho.

In addition to the obliteration of public activities of all kinds, consumer attitudes have changed forever on shopping.

The surprise looming for this fall is the falloff in GDP related to education, both university and younger.

Even after a vaccine in early 2021, economic activity won't go back to the status quo ante.

Then, when tax rates go up in 2021, malaise will exacerbate the negative economic situation and there'll be a death spiral.

Next will be the war, of course.

    We can still get weed.

  5. Nordstrom's will be the tell for the Plaza.

  6. The Plaza died a long time ago.

  7. I guess the rioters who got paid by the dimwits to destroy the economy got what they wanted.

The dimwits plan was to kill the economy, pass a huge stimulus bill that paid them and their friends, that’s all the despicable dimwits want, they could care less about the taxpayers.

  8. ^^^ it’s called money laundering, give big money to corporations who then in turn give a portion of it back to the demoncrook party for re-elections..... and $24,000 refrigerators full of $11 pints of ice cream.

  9. Nordstrom's has great merchandise, but it ranges from expensive to extremely expensive.

If the economy's recovered and well-off tourists are visiting the Plaza before and after Kansas City sports and cultural events, fine, they'll do well.

  10. ^^ 2:09 nailed it. Nordstroms has too many tranny workers. I hate any agenda being pushed on me. Right wing or left wing or in between. I don't go shopping to support movements, I go to buy goods that I wanted. Weird

  12. Covid and the repercussions from Covid is all the news and anyone should talk about. I can’t believe fake racism is co dominating the headlines.

  13. ^^^^^ You want to hear about fake racism and the BLM and what they just did? They shot and killed a shop owner in front of his shop in broad daylight because he had a Trump sign for African Americans to vote Trump. This Covid hype, George Floyd hype, and the fake racism and fake media are taking the economy down and the entire country. The left are cold blooded murders.
Oh and the George Floyd's transcript is out on what happened and that cop DID NOT KILL HIM!!!!!!!!!!! Media says NOTHING!

Trump lied; 146,000+ died. Nothing funny about the Trump virus now. Keep refraining from wearing a mask, MAGATS. It's coming for ya. Enjoy the ventilator and overwhelming hospital bills!

    1. Everyone needs to wear a mask.

Remember back in March/April when Fauci, CNN and everyone said masks don’t work unless you worked at a hospital .... Was that a lie ? Did that cost lives ?

  19. But Trump said the economy is roaring back with a V-shaped recovery. He brags his stock market has made up most of it's losses. I guess that should make up for the thousands of small business bankruptcies and 21% unemployment.

    Is he lying again?

  20. With the forgiven PPP loans, a lot of these small businesses are making out better than if there had been no COVID-19. At least Trump is a glass-half-full-type of guy. It's nice to finally have a president who believes in positive thinking instead of Obama, who thought manufacturing jobs were gone forever from the American landscape. Biden hasn't done crap in all his decades in office. Only try to get Clarence Thomas denied to the Supreme Court after false accusations.
