TKC MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY PROTEST MOVIE COMING SOON!!!

The dramatic Kansas City confrontation betwixt police and protesters sparked an outpouring of creative efforts. Recently, a high-profile local production house shared a peek at their cinematic undertaking . . . Checkit:

Description . . .

This is a compilation of shots gathered during the the first 6 days of the Kansas City protest for #blacklivesmatter & #GeorgeFloyd.

This video and the following short film is a collective contribution of many creatives in Kansas City, Missouri who chose to use their creativity and talents to help those reflect and grow from the actions we captured on camera during the protest.

As we find more justice and peace through growth and working together, may we learn from all of our actions and create a stronger bond and city! This is Kansas City and why I love Kansas City!

The short film will be released on 7/22/2020.

Take a look . . .

  1. looks great.

I guess the best part is the KCMO picked up the bill for the production costs. 2.1 million from the police budget and counting.

I guess KC needed a good exploitation movie.

  2. What's the plot of the movie?
High crime, dysfunctional policing, the death of the Plaza, renaming streets for anti-heroes, see who can kill the most or destroy the most?

  3. Typical garbage

  4. Just from viewing the trailer one must realize it was not the k.c. mo. police who were at fault for Floyds unfortunate death.

I watched without sound and don't mean to sound racist but what do we have here - white niggers or black honkeys? or am I missing the point? sorry.

  5. Welfare raised children who don't want to work mixed with spoild white children that don't want to work.

  6. Bottom line, this all started because people do not do as asked by the police. Plain and simple.

  7. Yes, life would be less complicated if Floyd would of chose to just get into the cruiser after arrest but for some reason he didn't and we have what we have now. And the timing covid 19 doesn't help any of this at all.

  8. not a surprise.

young people all consider themselves to be actors in their personal reality show on social media.

  9. yes but advertising to market oneself is a burden some don't want to deal with - lack of confidence I guess.

  10. Please tell me that this trailer is satire.

Fucking documentaries about Jonestown weren't this over the top.

Obey the law and you will avoid almost all interactions with the police.

  12. One issue is Baby Mammas. They have many kids with different men, dont marry any of the men, and the kids have no fathers around to be good examples. The kids only have a promiscous Mom at home. She has kids for extra welfare checks. And the Mom is overly sexual active, so the daughters follow in her footsteps and start having sex early. And the black culture does not criticize this at all. Its completely unchristian, as the Bible teaches against fornication and lack of family. But people ignore the ungodly actions of Baby Mommas. But will God ignore it on judgement day? And the crime it brings due to lack of family units?

  13. Even better for the participants than selfies and appearances on local TV.
    There I AM!
    See ME, ME, ME!
What an over-the-top exercise in propaganda and narcissism.
    All entertainment, all the time.

  15. Pondering if they will include the drive by shooting of the 4 year old kid, the transexual murdered on the street, 80 plus black committed murders, the little black kids shot at the plaza during wilding events, the whites families throw in the fountains during these wilding events or the two black brothers that got arrested the same week for murdering on the plaza ??? Or will they just tell how they defaced and tore up the area? Seems we present the victim poor innocent people card the most...

  24. Yet another Kansas City film maker struggling and yet still failing to rise to the level of Cinematic Excellence we've seen achieved by Timmy Wiseau and Neil Breen.

  25. A mayor making a campaign speech, encouraging the protesters, inciting violence while claiming giving him control of the cops is the answer. KCMO should be embarrassed. It is black "leaders" ENCOURAGING BLACKS TO RESIST THE COPS that is responsible for their deaths. Lucas has blood on his hands. Lucas lies about the cops and deaths he KNOWS are justified to incite the protests and cause more deaths/injuries. Movie seems to use him as a narrator. What a disgrace for an elected official.
