Somebody Please Dig Up The Zombie Corpse of J.C. Nichols So Kansas City Can Murder Him And FINALLY Move Past This Debate

Don't get it twisted . . . Normally, TKC really enjoys talking about history but NOBODY has made a new or relevant point in this discussion for more than a decade.

Here's what we hope is the conclusion of the conversation along with our TKC modest proposal to commit homicide against the zombie version of the long-dead real estate mogul . . . Fair game, last word goes to an "ally" white guy. Checkit:

Kansas Citians Reflect On Moving 'Segregationist' Nichols' Name From Plaza He Built

Nearly 100 years after J.C. (Jesse Clyde) Nichols built Kansas City's Country Club Plaza -- an outdoor shopping center modeled after Spanish architecture -- his name has been stripped from one of its streets and an iconic fountain.

Somebody dig up the zombie corpse of Nichols so KC can murder him again. Sorry to his family members but that is flipping funny!

its ironic that rich liberals who hate Trump live in the neighborhoods he built.

The Bolsheviks, The Chinese Cultural Revolution, Kamer Rouge in Cambodia all rewrote or destroyed history in their pursuit of perfection. Good luck 2020 America.

TOP PHOTO -- IS THIS MIC ON?

When Patrick, the boring liberal Democrat, spoke in favor of renaming the Nichols fountain, those sitting nearby caught some Z's!!!

Let’s fix all the Murders in the Negro community first ; then we can worry about: statues, fountains, and black leading men in movies etc... typical liberal dumb think. Small to big ...

How about we just call the fountain "The Fountain" and name the street "Fountain Parkway".

That way it stands for what it is and not for someone white or black, living or dead.

I had a feeling all along this Chris Goode was going to want it named after some black person and was his only objective in getting Nicolas name off of it. Why don't Chris go clean up the exciting MLK park that's a trashed out mess if honoring Dr King is so important to him. Naming multiple things after King is rather stupid and not necessary in my opinion based on the fact the good Doctor never once stepped foot one in Kansas City.

Like so many others, I am sick of hearing about this nonsense. The restrictions placed by Nichols’ properties in that day and age were the same as in nearly any other city in the US. The only reason JCN is being vilified is because he was better known than the others. And if you want to know the truth, the neighborhoods that were restricted then are the most beautiful in the city today. Coincidence? Not hardly.

The last few months has only created more racism and dug up more examples of why you should hate, based on the actions of the crybaby innocent . Weird

Renaming the fountain and the parkway will not erase the original intent of The Plaza, or who it was originally built for. People will get offended by this. It will never end.

When the Royalists regained power in England in 1680, one of the first things they did was dig up Oliver Cromwell's corpse, distress it and then scatter the bones in different parts of the realm. I suppose that made them feel better. The BLM folks might consider doing the same with J.C. Nichols' remains. Just to blow off some steam.

There are no racial housing restrictions any more, and there have not been for many years. Still, Blacks choose mostly to live in Black majority neighborhoods, Whites in White majority neighborhoods, etc. There is no reason to believe that would have been different 70 or so years ago. Housing restrictions likely had little to no practical effect.

7:51AM get off Super Dave's back. So what if he doesn't live in KCMO? Several others on this blog don't either, and their comments are relevant, just like Dave's. If you don't like his comments, then don't read them, but you are hardly the arbiter of the comments section; Tony is. So just back off and quit being an a**hole.

If they want to remove his name from all that he built then they'll also have to remove his name from all the subdivisions he built in Kansas City like Crestwood and others that did not allow blacks or Jews to buy into their home subdivisions.
