Show-Me Guv Parson Push Back Over MILLIONS In Pandemic Cash Spent On Cringe-y Missouri Tourism Promo
Be real . . . This move should draw skepticism from both Democratic Party AND Republican colleagues given that coronavirus has basically killed the travel and hospitality for 2020. Also, Missouri wine isn't even a nice idea in theory.

Missouri spending $15M in coronavirus relief funds on boosting tourism
Missouri plans to spend $15 million in federal coronavirus aid on promoting tourism in the state, Gov. Mike Parson (R) announced Thursday. Parson called the tourism industry "a great way to support Missouri businesses" in his press briefing Thursday, adding "With all the other things going on, it's still important people need to get out and enjoy life a little bit."
He is the Chamber of Commerce governor. There is no corporate welfare he opposes. Maybe a Democratic governor and Republican legislature can actually help reduce waste.
ReplyDeletewill the ads have pictures of the ozarks parties?
ReplyDeletetry to get the stars of ozarks from netflix.
I say spend the $15 million on deporting all the murderous blacks back to Africa.
ReplyDeleteI know I know, that’s a lot of people to get rid of and if that isn’t enough we can start a gofundme page!
Vacationing in Missouri will be fine as long as you stay out of the covid hotspots, the Democrat cities to be perfectly clear, kc and St. Louis you’ll be safe from murder and the virus.
ReplyDeleteI think the gov might be experiencing mental decline. This is the worst use of money during a pandemic. Sure: "Come to a pandemic hot spot. Live life dangerously."
ReplyDeletePandemic hotspot eh global? CDC numbers say we're sitting at 98% of expected deaths based on historical trend. All covid and other deaths included. Pretty average to me. But, I suspect you believe we should shut down the economy when the flu reaches a certain count (or play always-move-the-goalposts). Maybe you'd also be on board with gov forced weight loss on the morbidly obese, after all, a huge problem. Either way, that's a total effin' waste of money after Parson crashed our economy to make the big city progs like him
