SHOCK!!! KANSAS CITY MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS SEYZ HE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT 'OPERATION LEGEND' FED CRACKDOWN AND HIS SUPPORTERS DECRY PREZ TRUMP ADMINISTRATION & GUV PARSON EFFORT!!!

In the midst of a historic Kansas City homicide spike, a great deal of reaction to an upcoming federal law enforcement crackdown has been surprisingly negative and Mayor Quinton Lucas leads locals in questioning the effort.

The Mayor's initial tweet response . . .

"Since I learned via press conference (really, Twitter) this afternoon like all of you, I'm trying to get a few more details. I will have a statement forthcoming and then will hope to learn more and share more as soon as I can."

An extended social media note from Mayor Lucas:

"I learned on Twitter this afternoon that the Department of Justice plans to send federal investigators to Kansas City as support for unsolved homicide and non-fatal shooting investigations. As I understand the Department’s plan, any outside help will not be used for regular policing or patrol activities—and solely to clear unsolved murders and shootings.

"I also understand the United States Attorney in Kansas City has been in contact with the family of LeGend Taliferro who support the investigation effort to help find the murderer of four-year-old LeGend and many other victims tragically killed this year in Kansas City.

"I plan and hope to learn more about this effort over the days ahead. The investigative support effort announced this afternoon can be only one tool out of many, such as mental health treatment and restorative justice, in addressing violent crime.

"As I said in my letter sent last week to Governor Parson that was cited by the White House this afternoon, ‘[W]e will continue to pursue a broad set of social services and other tools to address violent crime now and in the future.’ As mayor, I remain committed to working on all solutions to making our city safer and finding peace for all those impacted by violent crime."

Moreover . . .

CHECK THE MAYOR'S SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT & NOTICE PUSH BACK AGAINST THE PREZ TRUMP ADMINISTRATION LAW ENFORCEMENT CRACKDOWN!!!

A few of the more strident comments pulled from the conversation:

"This is so disrespectful and RUDE of @GovParsonMO. I used to work for state of #Missouri when manners & protocol were in place. It’s absurd Gov’s Office didn’t coordinate with one of our cities mayors. Not working together is not working for Missouri! #VoteBlueToSaveAmerica2020"

Widespread support of this theory:

"Please watch out for the innocents in this matter. I personally do not trust anything out of the White house right now. Our President is a racist and all his "friends" are as well. Please be careful Mayor. Do not let them take control of our city."

Local conspiracies abound regarding the plan:

"I think the mayor was betrayed by the governor and the feds. The mayor asked for a state meeting and gets the feds?? Not good, and shows the governor doesn't give an F about KC."

Accordingly . . .

Throughout the years, law enforcement officials have told us that partnership with the community is a critical competent of their success. Whilst there are many "unknowns" about this effort, what is certain is that the upcoming federal crackdown has not yet achieved overwhelming local support as even this town's highest ranking elected official complains about being out of the loop.

ABC: "In Kansas City, for example, Barr said the Justice Department has been in touch with state authorities in Missouri to provide additional federal agents after what Barr called “a serious spike in crime.”

"The influx of support will be called Operation Legend, named after a 4-year-old boy who was shot and killed while sleeping in his Kansas City home. The boy had just recovered from open-heart surgery.

“My daughter had open heart surgery at a comparable age, and I remember how stressful it was for our family,” Barr said. “And the idea of your child surviving that, and the joy you would feel to see your kid pull through something like that, it affected me a lot.”

  1. Trump sending a bunch of kc criminals to jail might not win him votes in KC but other Missouri voters will love it.

If the mayor is out of the loop than that's his fault, not Trump's.

You people are too wrapped up in your politics. This is just a massive overtime benefit for law enforcement. Don't hold your breath waiting for changes.

  2. After the last few weeks, how can anyone believe anything out of Mayor Quentin Lucas mouth. That guy is either schizo, bi-polar or is the biggest liar known to mankind.

  3. Dirty car wash Cleaver said that Trump slapped this on without the people's O.K. How incredibly ignorant Cleaver is. Look at all that KC racist blacks have shoved down our throats without the people's support. This comes from people who have talked to Gov. Parsons asking for help from the thugs who were behind BLM and watched as the mayor, the chief of police, Cleaver, and Patrick Mahomes with his big mouth destroyed our city and praised the attacks.

Cleaver is a liar and if the city can't be controlled the people will go over their heads. Cleaver and Lucas knew about the bricks and destruction that was coming don't think they didn't. They need to go to jail.

  4. Lucas has to be the biggest phony to ever show up at KCMO city hall, and the competition for that spot has been really fierce for decades.
He tried to pawn off KCMO's and his utter lack of ability to address the horrendous homicide rate in the city on to the governor and Missouri legislature.
All the while totally ignoring the actual cause of the problem, which is a small percentage of thugs in the black community killing each other and anyone else who might get in the line of fire, including little kids.
At the same time, he's kneeling and making believe that he's seriously considering and even supporting all the unserious and extreme DEMANDS from the BLM mob and their unwitting supporters.
And no, the feds aren't going to schmooze the local usual east side suspects to make sure their narrative of making excuses and passes blame for the behavior of people in their own community isn't bruised by the facts.
The feds should help flood the east side high crime neighborhoods, confiscate illegal guns held by felons, arrest and charge the folks doing all the mayhem and killing, and get them to federal court, here they'll be looking at serious charges and appropriately long sentences.
The regular hard-working people who live in those neighborhoods will rejoice.
And Lucas looks like the snake that ate its tail.
Maybe he should call CNN or the New York Times!

  7. Best thing to do is stay out of the way and let the feds do their job. They need no advice from us.

Only thing left to do now for the rest of the week is to make jokes about Byron and see how long he can keep his composure, which he seems to be good at lately.

  9. TOP PHOTO -- DOG-FACED PONY SOLDIER

On the one hand, Mayor Quagmire pleads with Gov. Parson to bail him out of his record-setting KCMO homicide emergency.

On the other hand, when Parson delivers in spades, bringing in the heavy-hitters, SJW Quinton pivots back to his BLM constituents and claims the feds are conducting a no-knock raid on KC.

Quinton has calls in to the NY Times and CNN as I write!!!

    1. People have the right to live. The city is basically The Purge. You have no idea what legal authority the Federal Government has especially at the request of the Governor.. Your feelings, and your Spidey sense has not been serving you well Byron. FYI... I voted for Obama twice and he would not be liberal enough to run today vs. his platform in 08. Byron if you have a job and a functional brain I advise you to vote Trump !

      Delete
    2. Actually he does. He can send in federal help, if it is requested by a Governor.

That is exactly why he hasn't been able to do anything about Seattle & Chicongo. The states need to make a kn actual request for help.

  15. Just read some of the tweet responses to the Boy Blunder’s admission of cluelessness. Those people do not give even a little damn about the people being gunned down on the streets of Kansas City. What is wrong with them? They are just a bunch of obsequious dicksuckers from the social justice wing.

  16. ^^Of course, he does you idiot.
The President sent in the Feds to get Al Capone. Do you think that the crooks in Chicago approved of it?

  17. Governor Parsons: "Send in the feds!" Mayor Lucas: "Send in the social workers!"

Ultimately the effort will fail, unfortunately. The social dysfunction is too deep to be fixed by a few FBI agents.

  18. Mr. Mayor .... Please save lives and resign. No matter how many pennies you throw in the Plaza’s Malcolm X fountain; your wishes are not working. A real leader knows when to leave. You should thank President Trump for helping you.... Maybe even kneel before him?

  20. Calm down, everyone - this is a ten-day-long publicity stunt by Barr trying to bolster his one and only Client's re-election chances.

In two weeks everything will be back to normal and Trump/Barr will forget that Kansas City ever existed.

Maybe some day the Justice Department will get back to law enforcement and stop pimping for Politicians.

  21. It has become obvious that Mayor Q is in over his head and does not know what he is doing. He is too busy worrying about facemasks and making sure that locally owned restaurants do not having more than 10 people inside meanwhile Kansas City's crime, murder and unemployment rates are continuing to break records. Mayor Q chose to shut down locally owned businesses yet allowed protestors to destroy the city with no repercussions whatsoever. If I were a business owner in Kansas City and put my life savings into my business I would be livid.

  22. Mayor Q is an incompetent phony, and that 's putting it lightly. I should've voted for the lesbian. At least she has the guts to be herself and she would've had the best interests of business owners in mind unlocks this fool..

  23. To watch and listen to the local "leaders" of the black community about not being consulted about this effort at actually trying to reduce homicides in their own community is pretty much all you need to know about how things have gotten as bad as they are and why they've stayed that way.
The feds might actually have the guts to honestly define the problem and do something about it.
Get the thugs off the streets who are murdering each one another and other innocents, charge them, convict them, and give them the long prison sentences that they deserve.
And the usual suspects are upset about someone else pulling away the curtain instead of listening to the sad old tired excuses and blame.
The grifters have identified and defined themselves.
They've been a part of the problem all along.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Fucking democrats whine...it's rude and disrespectful to try to stem the black murder spree going on.

Nevertheless it's a lost cause...nothing will change until blacks accept their culture is based on thuggery and also have the will to change.

  25. Wait. Quinton asks for help because he can't handle his problem, and now he's angry because he's getting the help?
